Huhhhh?

I didn't even know this was a game in demand. And looking at a trailer for the game, I'm not sure it is even a game. It just seems to be a lot of text with bouncy bosums which you can see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJhzRWt9rck

Actually, before posting this, I decided to check out the Japanese trailer of this game and that one actually has a few seconds of gameplay being shown which involves around a world map talking to people and sometimes hacking and slashing enemies. But given the montage of chest close-ups, gameplay does not seem to be the focus of this game. And if you need to see more: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHXqb3zjrv0. Like a massive trainwreck, you can't turn away.

So, odd choice to bring over to the west. Even wierder to me is this is made be Marvelous Entertainment, the people that make Harvest Moon and River King. I did not see that coming.

However, the reason I bring this up, beside helping give Stevey more inspiration for a new hawtness thread, is that this is the type of game I really though would always stay in Japan but XSEED is taking the risk of trying it in the west but minimizing that risk by making it a downloadable only title. No retail release. (Although I think a retail release of this game could have more problems than just cost and inventory.) This gives me hope that maybe this could be the beginning of a trend for publishers to start bringing more games over from Japan even if its just as a digital release.

Maybe it will inspire Nintendo to do the same and we could see things like Tingle's Rupeeland, Captain Rainbow, Giftpia, Disaster: Day of Crisis or Chibi-Robo 3. Or, if not Nintendo, maybe XSEED will take the chance on them. With the release of this game, they don't seem to be too worried about the perceived content of titles. Maybe they don't sell a lot but some of those titles have characters or are more well-know among the Nintendo gaming community that I would think they sell more than this game and isn't what publishing them is all about?
Whoever said, "Cheaters never win" must've never met Khushrenada.
