Sorry to be reviving such an old thread, but this seems to be the most appropriate thread.  Now...

WHAT WAS THE SPECIAL ENDING?!?!?!?!?!?  I can't find it anywhere online, and I can't buy the game for a while longer.  Please, someone tell me what happens.  I just want to know what actually happens.  Thanks in advance for anyone who helps...Later

Just wondering if anyone had played the new Zoids game?  It kind of crept up on America, b/c one day I just saw it at the store, and I never heard anything about it...is it any good?  Thanks in advance.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Pokemon "Ideal"?

Just something I've always wanted to see is a pokemon game/battle system like super smash brothers...just choose a pokemon w/ moves set to different button combinations, and have a real time battle like in the tv show...that's what I've always wanted to see.  Don't get me wrong, I love the old versions, I just thin this could be a cool idea.

I have a question.  I am on Windfall Island, with the pictobox, trying to become the photographers apprentice or something of that nature.  I already completed the first task, which was photographing the man sending love letters.  I am now stuck on the second task, which is finding and photographing the person who is extremely timid and cowardly.  Could someone please tell me who this is?  I have no clue.  Thanks in advance for your help.

I just think of it as different Links for each console (for the most part).

Nintendo Gaming / Just Finished Eternal Darkness. WOW!

Okay, I have a problem. I really, really want this game. And at 15 bucks, i want to run the the store right now in my underwear, grab the game, hand the clerk a 20 and run out. But I am only thirteen years old. I don't have much experience with horror movies or games, so I don't know what to expect, and I don't really know if I can handle it. I don't picture myself as a scaredy cat or anything, or squimish for that matter, but tthe thing of it is, really don't know.

Question one: Am I too young? (I disregard ESRB ratings, since SSBM got a T...hogwash I tell you)

I accidently read about some of the more serious insanity effects, such as the fake reboot and error messages and some more
Question Two: Will this seriously ruin the insanity factor of the game?

Request: If any of you guys can do this, it would be greatly appreciated. I want the title of a horror novel that is similar in the, how do you say, "fright factor" of this game. I am about to start either "The Shining" or "Misery" by Stephen King (for those of you who participated in the good book thread, I gave up "It" becasue I wanted to get used to Stephen King by reading his classics). So if one of these books is a phycological thriller such as Eternal Darkness in "fright factor" I'd be all set.

It's not too scary, but there are some parts that kind of surprise you.  Regarding books to read, I think any books by H.P. Lovecraft would work out.  I haven't read any, but it's mentioned in the game and my friends have read them.

ED is such a great game.  I saw it at Babbages for only $15.  I haven't beaten any of the paths yet, but I'm close, since I've only rented it and played it at my friends house.

General Chat / Resident Evil 2 movie, where are you?
« on: July 04, 2003, 05:41:35 AM »
I found out more info.  It is now being called Resident Evil: Apocolypse, instead of Nemisis because of the Star Trek Movie.  Just look it up on google and you should find some info.  They start filming in August, and it should be out in the Spring of 04.

If it's Starfox 2 and not Starfox Armada, then why do they have the Starfox Armada website up?

I used to be really good on the Piano, but now I'm on Trombone.  Been playing about 7 years.  I used to be really good, but then I got braces, and now I can't get high notes.

I think Nemisis is supposed to be in it, and it had an original release date of 2003.  That's all I know about it.

I agree with HolyPaladin.  Zelda: A Link to the Past is an all time great, and I would highly recommend it to anyonewith a GB Adavance or Player.  Oh well, good luck with your selection!

Nintendo Gaming / Official Star Fox Armada Discussion(Star Fox 2)
« on: July 01, 2003, 06:19:41 AM »
I may be the only person who thinks this, but I wish they went back to the old puppet look from the SNES.  I just thought that was so cool.  If you compare the Fox then to the Fox now, he has changed dramatically.  I just miss the old puppet Fox.

It looks okay.  I really don't like the planned control scheme for when the characters run around.  I am looking forward to the game, though.  I didn't like the way Rare made Fox kinda cocky and a jerk in SFA, so hopefully this game will do him some justice.

General Chat / Evanescence - Any of you guys like them??
« on: June 28, 2003, 07:09:38 AM »
Something like that.  I was in another forum online, and someone was talking about them.  So I checked out their website, which wasn't much at the time.  So then I checked out some of their fan sites, and I heard a couple of their demos.  I instantly liked what I heard, and I've been listening to their music ever since.

I've been a fan of theirs for about a year now.  Haunted and Tourniquet are my favorite songs on the album.

You mean like on the NES?  Mario DX on the gameboy color, and their coming out with Donkey Kong country on the Advance.

Nintendo Gaming / super smash bros melee talk
« on: May 31, 2003, 01:53:02 PM »
Firstly, everybody knows that Fox is the best.  His speed and agility make him the strongest adversary.  Secondary, it's been months since a Melee thread has been started.  And thirdly, Melee is in fact one of the best games on ANY system.  If anyone lives in NC, and are any good at Melee, let's talk about a tournament.  None of my friends can compare to me, and I've been looking for a worthy challenger.
