Activision canceled Wakeboarding Unleashed Featuring Shaun Murray according to IGN. Sheesh now Activision is joining the club, they still will make PS2, Xbox, and GBA versions! :mad:

its wakeboarding. I think that surfing and BMX are more popular than wakeboarding and KELLY SLATER PRO SURF and MAT HOFFMANS PRO BMX2 sold terrible on all three consoles. The GCN version sold the worse. It is a smart move on Activision because I don't think this game could have sold 2000.

I wonder if people even like wakeboarding. sounded like a snoozer anyway. sounded liek activision was desperate to add another sport to their huge franchises.

Isn't that where you skim on the sand on the beach when the wave goes back out and the wake makes the surface slick? And there's really nothing to do but slide for a few meters?

Dang, I actually want to buy Matt Hoffman 2 on GCN. I love extreme sports games. Hopefully it'll be cheaper now.

no its the thing where its a mixture of water ski and surfing. your on a semi surfboard ,but your also trollied by a guy in a jetboat

This particular cancellation should count for NOTHING but it inevitably adds more fuel to the fanboy fire.
