I always think to myself that Minecraft is extremely boring and pointless. I only play for my six year old son on multiplayer. But then I find myself not wanting to quit. Our multiplayer games go on for hours sometimes and I could just keep going if I didn't willfully pull myself away and tell him we've had enough video games for the day. I'm thinking that Minecraft Story Edition is really going to hook me in when I comes out. I can only hope for a 3DS release. I have it for Vita, but 3D games will always take preference for me over the higher def Vita versions. Dat New 3DS

I still don't own the game on any platform, so if it had online then I'd buy it.

She's referring to the theoretical Nintendo version. If that one has online she will buy it.

I would gladly buy it again on a Nintendo platform. Pointer controls + gamepad touch screen would be awesome.

All this Minecraft talk makes me want to hop into the game again. But I know I'll just get sucked in again and I don't have the time...

well, a week ago i downloaded a new launcher and new version and well, it runs great again. So I've been playing on one particular server all week. I'll build a guest house. You guys can start clearing trees.

PLAY.STONERBROS.ORG
or
survival.stonerbros.org

its down right now....figures. The Coords are  x:1212   z:2210
It also could be they banned me because they thought I was cheating, but being an advance player I just become a rich person quickly. Let me know if its up for you.

I'll try to game the economy. Cactus farming is where its at. Its $230 for 32 Cacti. I've been getting $1500 for selling my cacti and growing exponentially. Cacti and sugar Cain are great because you get 3x what you plant. In about 4-5 weeks I'll be a server millionaire. I wish I was that good at real life. I'm growing cacti, selling them and then buying extra territory. I'm going to redstone automate the process. Then we'll just hit a switch, collect, sell, plant.

When I get enough money I'll buy you a bunch of rails for the rail system.

Railroad Tycoon: Minecraft Edition

Any word on when the server comes up?

How does this territory purchasing work? Could we buy up enough land for everyone?

you collect money in the server shop
then you can buy territory in the talk commands menu
you use a golden shovel and a menu pops up that lets you select the corners of your territory. Iv been doing contiguous territory, there is a way to subdivide it, but I haven't figured it out. I would try logging in tommorow.

My current place has a large skyscraper on a hill. There is a dangerous minehole of the type that I always make. Just a straight down 8x8 hole. It extends downhill into a cactus farm. There is a sunflower plain near my hill. Which I will be putting Pagodas on. We should make the hills to the right our multi people area. If you want to get out of new permville  there are some interesting cliffs nearby. Again the Coords are  x:1212   z:2210

My stuff is on a hill where one side has been cleared out. Its mostly hilly birch tree area.

oh and the territory thing is only if you're worried about griefing. You can build anywhere not claimed. I have a rectangle of land claimed, but outside of the rectangle we should do the group thing. When I get enough money I'll buy that area too, and just add you to my /trust list.

I wonder if we shouldn't pool our money together to buy up all of the land we want/need and then divy it up as needed. Sounds like a cool system. I'll try to check it out tonight.

I'm getting a pixel render error when I try to load it. Says my drivers are outdated. I tried some tricks and rebooted the computer last night. I'll test some more today to see if I fixed it.
