Isn't Axiom Verge the game Jonny Metts publicly shamed Reggie about?

Yeah, that's the one. I wasn't a huge fan of what I played of it on PS4; I'll probably go back and play more of it once the Vita version comes out. It's not bad, but it's not nearly on the level of Super Metroid or Zero Mission, or even Castlevania: Aria/Dawn of Sorrow.

I would like to see the results of one man's passion, especially if it's a Metroidvania.

I won't 100% it, but I would like to see it.

I think Axiom Verge gives a great first impression for the first third of the game or so but runs out of juice steadily thereafter and ends up being forgettable. At first I thought it would rank among the best of the non-actual-Troid games, but it doesn't get there. Great soundtrack, though, feels inspired by the opening theme of Farscape, which is appropriate.

If it doesn't come out on Wii U, anyone want to take bets on an NX version?

Dan Adelman has already mention they have a Wii U build up and running. Also, BlitWorks (Super Meat Boy, Don't Starve Giant Edition) is doing the port.

I have been playing Bloo Kid 2 on the 3DS since it was on sale recently. It is a 2D platformer. It is good. I like it.

Who here has played Octodad on Wii U? I wanna get it for a multiplayer party soon but can't find anywhere which controllers it supports. I have the Gamepad, a Pro controller and wiimote+nunchuck; anyone happen to know whether that will allow at least 3 people to play at once?

I bet it will look hilarious for the onlookers regardless, but 3 people would be great.

^ according to UK page it supports everything:

Ah nice, thank you! The U.S. page only lists the Gamepad, oddly enough. Thanks!
