After people kept bringing stuff like this up recently, it occurred to me that Mop it up and Stratos were asleep at the wheel, and the duty fell to me, your beloved tyrant, to bring back this largely irrelevant but discussion-provoking thread.

I wish we could get stats larger then the top 10.  They are fairly static.

A decent chunk of those top posters don't even come to the forums anymore.

I got bored and decided to look at this, so here it is, after a three year hiatus.

Takeaways:
1. The Sales and Rumors threads might as well be the whole forums.
2. Posts per day is down, but not as much as it sometimes feels.
3. I still apparently have no life outside these forums.

I'd love to find out the percentage of BnM's posts that consist merely of him saying something like "we already have a thread for that here" and then linking to a thread he started, even if there hasn't been a post in it for months.

I'd be more interested in these statistics contained in a more recent window of time (say, the last month, two months, or year). 

All the stats currently listed show that

1) Older users who have remained active posters on the forums have the most posts (duh)
2) Volunteers for the website who also do podcasts have a lot of reasons to post threads.  Maybe a separate stat not including talkback or podcast thread starts?
 
Or not, we're in the funhouse, this is not for srs bidness.
