New Wii Bundle in the UK?

Instead of a price drop, the UK might be getting a new Wii SKU.

Recently, early listings of American retailer circulars have revealed that the Wii will receive a $50 price drop, lowering its price from $249.99 to $199.99.

According to MCV UK, retailers have revealed to the website that there will not be a price drop in the country. Instead, there will be a new Wii SKU that will replace the current one.

The new Wii bundle will supposedly include the following: A Wii console, one Wii Remote, one Nunchuk, one Wii MotionPlus, a copy of Wii Sports, and a copy of Wii Sports Resort.

It is currently unknown if this bundle will be exclusive in the UK, or if it will be available throughout all of the PAL territories.

That's the re-bundling that I was predicting to happen here in the U.S. before the price drop pictures started to happen. I bet if it's a successful bundle we will see it here in the U.S. too, before Giftmas.

It would be perfect if Nintendo spend about 20 minutes combining the two games onto 1 disc so that it was like WiiSports Resort+

even better would be to update tennis and boxing with M+ all on 1 disc and release that bundled with the Black Wii. New buyers and double dippers would swarm the stores.

...I disagree, BNM.  I'd want them to use the phrase "All Star" in the title of the combo disc.

Also, this needs a second Wii-Remote set.
