Ok, so my girl just started playing this game on her Wii and I was showing her some of the pics from the Funhouse thread, and we have to ask. How do you use your Mii face in the game?
also, is there a wait period before you can play with someone online?

I told her maybe she could play with some of you from NWR since we don't know anyone else with a Wii that plays this game. Do you all use the WiiSpeak?

edit: And I swear someone could make a pretty sic beat with the BG music and the sound of running through the snow to the beat. I found myself bouncin to the beat a little.
To get your Mii face you have to go into the city to the hair stylist. As far as playing online you have to finish what Nook asks you to do.You know the chores when you first start a new game. After you do that you go into the main gate and talk to the dog on the right to get your code.
As far as Wii Speak.Me,Stratos,EasyCure, TheNorthSea use WiiSpeak. There might be others but they escape me ATM.

Djunknown has it as well, though I haven't seen him in a good long while. And EasyCure playing an online game is as common as a shiny Pokémon in a Pokémon game. I don't even know who TheNorthSea is.

Does anybody plan on playing this for New Years?
I might. Do you mean you'll be playing at midnight? For me that would be 3AM, and I might still be awake.

I thought I told you before who TheNorthSea was. You two played a few mafia games together.

As far as New years goes since you are on the east coast I would show up in your town 30 mins or so before Midnight your time. Then we can transfer to other towns based on when Midnight hits that town.
I did this last year and it was pretty fun ringing in the new year in different time zones.

I have a terrible memory, especially when it comes to people and names.

I don't think I'm going to be available at midnight my time, but I'll keep you posted.

With people as dedicated to this game this long after its release, I have a hard time thinking how anyone could think of Animal Crossing as anything BUT a game that appeals directly to Nintendo's hardcore fanbase.

The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

Animal Crossing is what you make of it. It can be something you play "hardcore" and pop it in for maybe 30 minutes a day and try to maintain and collect everything, or just once a week, or just whenever you feel like seeing the sights and hanging out with friends. So no, I wouldn't say it is a"hardcore" game any more than it is a "casual" game. It is whichever one you want it to be.

No, you don't need to exchange Wii Console Numbers with anyone. The only benefit of that would be that people could send letters from Animal Crossing to your Wii message board.

7076 6172 7372 4703

Let me know if you add it so I can add you back.
you can just call it BNM2 so you don't 4get who it is.

Your sig is ridiculous. Seven lines! Count 'em, seven lines. If you get any more online games then it's going to take up a whole page!

I'll probably overhaul it soon. I don't keep my FCs anywhere so I try to keep the more commonly used ones in my sig for convenience. Maybe I should just put them all in a google document and link to it to shorten my sig.

Is there not a website out there which can store your friend codes? I haven't looked for one but I'd think there'd be something like that out there somewhere. I could use something like that to keep track of my codes as well.

Maxi needs a sig snip too, his is also seven lines.
