Crave Entertainment brings spelling fun to the PSP® system and Nintendo DS™

Newport Beach, CA - Crave Entertainment, a leading publisher of console videogames for the casual gamer, today announced they will publish Spelling Challenges and More!, a new family game for the PSP® (PlayStation® Portable) system and for the Nintendo DS™ handheld system. Based on the growing enthusiasm for spelling bees and brain games, Spelling Challenges and More! offers fun for the whole family in an engaging game show format.

“Movies like Akeelah and the Bee, Bee Season and Spellbound have made spelling bees and word games hot," said Doug Panter, director of brand marketing for Crave Entertainment. “Presenting these games in an entertaining, interactive format on videogame consoles is a great way to get the whole family involved in a fun activity and actually learn something, too."

In the Spelling Challenge game show mode, your host Mr. Niceguy introduces the game and awards dollars and prizes for correct answers. In addition to Spelling Challenge there are a plethora of word games to test your skills and improve your brain, with opportunities to acquire bonuses by going for broke. The words will increase in difficulty as you progress. With over 25,000 words to spell and 100 difficulty levels, Spelling Challenges and More! offers something for the whole family.

Spelling Challenges and More! is expected to be available in Summer 2007 for a suggested retail price of $19.99.
