I will be performing a server upgrade starting at Nov 7 11:59PM. The forums should be down for no more than one hour.

The connection issues were something else, and shouldn't happen again. This upgrade should increase performance in general and get us ready for full-on video hosting.

I'm not sure if it's related to the server upgrade or an ad, but when I visited the main site this morning I received the following error message.

This happened around 9:00 AM PST. I haven't been able to duplicate the error.

I've gotten that message on this site before, but I've also gotten it elsewhere so I didn't think it was a problem specifically with NWR.

Ironically, I had a connection failure just now trying to view this thread.

I didn't have any hitches myself and everything seems to be working well. What other changes were made?

Ah, so you are still having internet issues?

Hope you have a keyboard to use. I've had to use my Wii to post here in the past when my laptop died and it was not fun to use the Wiimote. I'm not a masochist in that regard unlike some Birdo-loving folks around here

I was pleased to discover that my Bluetooth keyboard works on my Wii no problem and that saved me a lot of trouble.

Yeah I got a keyboard but I only use it if I have to post something big or have to post something quickly like in Mafia.
