If you look at any of the signs throughout the game there in Hylian before you "read" them.  In WW I thought after you beat the games they gave you the ancient Hylian in plain English.  Pretty much all I'm asking is if they do something special for the replay.

Oh, yeah, I remember that in Wind Waker now.  For a second there I thought you were asking Caliban about being able to read the signs as a counterpoint to that one guy who was ragging on Twilight Princess for the dumbest reasons, including being unable to read signs from afar.

I do remember that from WW, yet my answer is still no, and I want to keep my answers simple and short as possible, however, when you finish the game you will inderstand what I mean by "no".

I officially hate the City In The Sky dungeon.  >_<

I'm trying to finish this before my mom snarks at me for being up too late.  I figure, oh, another few rooms to go.  Looks like I dropped down too soon when I shouldn't've.  >_<  If you're where I am, or further, maybe you know what I'm talking about.  >_<

EDIT: On GameFAQs someone mentioned that instead of backtracking, I could use an Oocca to fly to a particular pillar or something and save myself the trouble.  Too late to do even that today, though.  >_<

Alright, I'm near the end of the game and I need money.  2000 is  abit excessive  Are there any good minigames to wager my money on in the hopes of getting rich quick, or do I have to cut grass for the next 50 hours?

Also to anyone who has gone fishing be sure to C look around at the stuff in there.  The picture of the "Legendary Fisherman" made me so very happy

Hey, I was only 10 poes short of full completion! (unless you don't get another bottle for them, then I gotta find that too) Sadly I have no idea where to BEGIN looking for them.

Jon Leung: did you get the "tool" from this dungeon yet? You might not like the dungeon much, I didn't either, it will get better or worse...hahaha.

Crimm: Did you get all the bugs yet? They give you good money for it.

Famicom: Did you try the "whatever-it's-called of ordeals, it has 3 poes there I think.

I too am missing that last bottle, and why did I just have to spoil that, we already know they are in the game anyway.

How many complete hearts are any of you away from the full 20 hearts? I have 16 full hearts.

Caliban: Yes, I got the tool in the seventh dungeon.  It was what I was kind of expecting and I could see how it's useful outside of the dungeon in a few places.  It's also a cool "upgrade" to my favourite Zelda item (...or I guess technically a variation of my favourite Zelda item).  However, that didn't make the dungeon much less icky since it has annoying music, I got lost a few times despite there being fewer rooms than most dungeons, I hate the stupid multi-level rooms, etc.  Hopefully the boss is cool, some of the bosses in this game were really fun to fight and it would be a further letdown if the boss I get to soon doesn't live up to the previous ones.

I really hate spiders, so it was satisfying smashing the Arachnogohma in the previous area.  I wanted it to take a couple more hits, in fact.

So money becomes a problem later.  I just got the Larger wallet and I'm thankful because I've been stuck at 300 Rupees for most the game so the whole water temple is full of chest with rupees in it.

I have a question for those who have beaten the game, (or got every piece of hearts);

In Hyrule castle, there's a big room north of the first floor that I can't acces. there's 3 chests in there, and one of them is probably a small key for a door leading to 3 more chests (just beside the boss room). There's a triforce sign facing the wall i'm trying to get accros, and when I step on it and talk to Midna, she says that there must be a way around the wall, and that it would be interesting to get on the other side.

And the piece of heart question:
Is there a piece of heart among those chests? I'm 1 piece of heart away from having my 20 hearts. When I talk to the spirit lady in Hyrule Town, she shows me the same screenshot over and over....and I've gotten that piece. So I'm guesssing my last piece is in Hyrule Castle

Oh and BTW, does anyone knows if it's worth it to gather those 60 poes? They are hard to find...need 28 still whereas I only need 4 more bugs

Thanks!
Wii will rock you

Rick, I understand completely. My wife has class tonight, and I'm planning on getting home as quick as I can after work to take advantage of having the house to myself and make some progress on Zelda When she's around, I can't seem to get much gaming time in (we've got one tv, and it's in the main area of our apartment, so it's not really fair for me to monopolize it every evening all week long).

Am I a horrible husband? Not completely, anyways. Instead of playing Zelda yesterday, I watched her two favorite tv shows with her (Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars), so I need to make up some time. After all, (and she doesn't seem to understand this, but) I've got the entire land of Hyrule counting on me to save the day, and I'm not about to let them down.

P.S. - EVERYONE IS FURTHER ALONG THAN ME!! I WANT TO READ THE SPOILERS, BUT I WON'T DO IT ARRRRGGHHHHHHH

If you watched an entire episode of Gilmore Girls, then you are a saint.  They're just so chatty.

I'm still only finished the third twighlight section (after 18 hours), there are plenty of "slowpokes" on the forum.  Slowpokes unite!

I haven't read any other posts in this thread and I won't be doing so until I finish the game, but all I can say is this game has given me more "HOLY SH*T!" moments than most any game and certainly any other Zelda game...

Actually (looks around sheepishly), I normally like the show. But still, Zelda > Gilmore Girls, there's no denying that. So maybe my "saint" should be downgraded to "decent fellow."

I got my first game over screen before the 3rd temple after thawing out the Zoras and meeting back up with Ilia. Getting the wagon to Kakariko was fun! But unfortunately one of the boar rider guys pushed me behind a rock, and I wasn't able to catch up before the wagon went up in flames... But I have yet to die as a swordsman or wolf yet. I only get my game overs by letting other people die!

I think considering that I work full-time, being at the end of the seventh dungeon as of last night is pretty good progress.  I went through the third to sixth dungeons this past weekend playing near-non-stop and spent a lot of time making sure I had all the Pieces of Heart possible after each dungeon since after the third.

I'm not slow, but I did slow down at a few places and I did do a lot of things later than I should...

1. It took me over half an hour to figure out how to fish properly at the beginning of the game.

2. It took me over forty minutes to beat Yeta in the race, since I kept wiping out at the stupidest times (like at the end when I happened to be doing well) and didn't realize you could hit her.

3. I got the Warp Point outside the fishing lake much later than I could've.

3. I fixed the Bridge of Eldin also before the SEVENTH dungeon, when I probably could've done it before the FOURTH.  Same with getting the Warp Point nearby.

4. I got the bottle from the oil salesman before the SEVENTH dungeon, even though I probably could've gotten it before the FIRST.

On another note, I've never run out of hearts while fighting a major boss.  I have, however, gotten Game Over at some points, where I then reached for the power button out of habit from past games.  Those points included:

1. on the bridge duel, since I only had half a heart, and thought that falling was instant death
2. at the bridge on fire, since I only had half a heart, and thought that the fire was instant death
3. during the escort mission (which includes a bridge)
4. during the flight up Zora's river and colliding into a rock wall and falling
5. racing Yeta and repeatedly falling

Interesting thing is that they are bridge or speed-related.  o_0  And I did have a fairy with me during #4, which was the only time I was ever revived by one, and due to the nature of that "death", I haven't REALLY seen what a fairy-revival looks like in this game.

Game complete, my "Game Over-less" streak in Zelda games continues...

About the ending: Absolutely fantastic, but it doesn't explain anything about Wind Waker at all!  *shakes fist at Aonuma taking the easy way out*
