So are you going to have to miss future E3s because it is your wedding anniversary?

amd WS:Resort on the 9th of July.

Wii sports resort isn't coming until 27th of July.

Then why does the WSR thread say July 09 in the title? Maybe that's just saying July 2009? The thread OP says 27th so I guess that must be it. My bad.

Wow, June 23rd is the magic Summer date it seems. Conduit, Indiana Jones, Overlord and now Anno "Dawn of Discovery".

I am curious in the game as I like those types, but it may have to wait since I want those other three as well along with Wii Sports Resort.

I've only heard of two possible uses for the vitality sensor. One that I liked was using it to gauge you in the middle of a battle/race and alter the difficulty or AI attack patterns based on your vitals. Imagine a shmup where the waves get more frantic the higher your heart rate goes. Even more exciting, imagine the "Architect" AI controller from Left 4 Dead or The Grinder having access to your vitals and using it to make decisions based on how stressed or rushed you are. Or in a racing game give your score a boost based on how much of an actual rush you feel from nearly hitting an oncomming car. Perhaps make it so that you go into hypermode in a new Metroid Prime game if your vitals shoot up enough.

That's what excites me about the Vitality Sensor thing-a-majigger.

Ohhh! It's that Anno 1702 or whatever game based on early Western discovery of the Americas, right? I diddn't realize there was a Wii or a DS version.

Did they ever come out in NA?

I loved the old N64 Skyscraper. I can't make much of a call on any of the new courses because I don't like the new battle mode. I prefer free-for-all battle mode.

That will probably be too late for me tonight as I have to be up between 5-6 AM Pacific time. But normally I'm up late since I'm SUPPOSED to be a graveyard worker. I was highered as one but my boss keeps throwing random day shifts in there. Not that I'm complaining about getting hours in a poor economy like this, but I'd pefer some consistency for sleep and sanity's sake.

I have Monday through Thursday off this coming week so I can play late then. 13 hour work days are great! I get 3-4 day weekends.

Yeah, I tried to hit up a tech friend for a cable of some kind but he's not sure if he has one. I may have to just let it lay until I can afford a new computer to test this one with. I hope it's just something with the laptop. It was falling apart as it is. It's the data on the drive I care more about.

Whats the price range for one of those cables?

October? what else is coming out then? It may be bumped off my list if it goes head to head with Silent Hill.

Silent Hill is only dated for Q3 so far. It could land in the same window.

I like the possibility of scaring friends with it. I know a couple of VERY jumpy people I could use it on.

Then is it the computer that is broken? Like, should I try and swap the drive with another laptop to grab the information? Or is the hdd dead-dead.

and those who know every stat inside and out.
Knowledge does not equal skill. I know every stat, shortcut, trick, etc. and I'm far from being the best player in the world!

But your still pretty darn good. You are the top ranked players on Time Trials on my friend list.

Hey, Djunknown, I'll ride with you too if you want the practice. My codes in my sig and I should be on most of tomorrow.

PS3 Slim will be backwards compatible with most PS3 games!

:P

I may just have to hunt down one of the old ones that has full PS2 backwards ciompatibility.

I am ridiculously jealous of your collection, Mop_it_up!

Nice work on collecting everything. You should mod one of your systems and get going on relevant Japanese games. I only have Sin & Punishment and Custom Robo 64, but both are REALLY awesome games, so I throw those out as viable candidates.

I was really hoping NoA would bring over Custom Robo on the VC since it came out in Japan.

Perm started a trend: everyone post your N64 game collection. Maybe with our powers combined, we could hope to match the number of games Mop it up owns.

Maybe it will be a new plot twist in this game. At the end it is revealed you are locked in your chair in the doctors office because you are viewed as mentally unstable and the things you thought were monsters were actually people trying to stop you from running around killing people like a mad man. The game ends with you getting carted back to your padded room while you are screaming for your daughter, and it is revealed she was the one who turned you in.

I like to play the coin shooter game after having a huge Brawl party. I sat there for hours yesterday and shot trophies and alien spaceships. I still have a couple thousand coins to go through as well.

Brawl is about equal to Melee I think. If they had not axed some of the characters from Melee and included a few more new ones then I would have liked it more than Melee I think.

It was like having a little Neal in my pocket.

<a girl can dream>

Mrs. Lindy, is that you? Or has Lindy pulled a fast one over us this entire time and is actually a girl?

edit: Was this game at E3 in any shape or form? seems weird for a game coming out this month to not get a mention at E3 or the Post E3 JPN conference.

This is a WiiWare game. Nintendo NEVER promotes those much if at all at conferences.

My sister will be excited about this. I wonder how it it will play. Will it have a Smash Brothers feel?

I'm goint to guess $40 release.

I've been curious about this game since last falll when it was announced. I didn't realize it was a M+ supported game. I wonder how it plays without it since it is optional.

It reminds me of something, but I can't place what.

Mop it up, I'm sorry you felt you had to lie before in other places. It's never fun to have to do that to be accepted properly. But I believe we all accept you for who you are here: A Birdo Fan :)

Though, that picture is probably going to haunt you now. It just always wants to show up in random threads here.

This is also the same crowd that voted the L-Block the best game character and then had a fit about how it wasn't really a character.

They did it once, I don't see why they couldn't have done it again.

One of the things that frustrates me about the series is that at one point you typically are forced to grind in the wild. I prefer to fight other trainers instead of grass grinding. If they added the past region where you could keep battling trainers up until you faced the Elite 4 then I would be happier with the game.
