I think Nintendo should just move on from the DS and DSi/XL. I understand that the older DS systems have a bigger install base, but Nintendo has a new system out that needs to be sold. Maybe that's the reason why they dropped the price of the older DS models, to get rid of stock so they can fully concentrate on the 3DS from now on...
