No thread yet? I'd like to vote before I leave for work tonight.

GOD... I'm starting to think of buying a new DS... I still have my launch DSPhat... oh god be strong.

Stand firm, mate! Resist the temptation of Mario vs Konkey Kong on DSiWare! Resist the beautiful matte black DSi...I want one too...

Have you ever seen that Jeff Dunham ventriloquist skit with Walter where Walter says he wants to be a Wal-Mart greeter? "Welcome to Wal-Mart, get your **** and get out!"

I was more hoping Unclebob knew of it and would reply with that quote.

I prefer to play with people I know over people I do not know.

I like having post game discussions and smack talk with them.

I know what you mean. Randomly gathering friend codes gets dull if you don't really communicate with the people outside of the game. It's just random play but with the extra steps of entering friend codes & adjustable settings.

That's why I don't post my FCs in the special threads here. Though I guess I could do it and not enter the codes of people who are not part of this community and dump their codes there. I could be mean like that. Bill did that in the AC code thread.

What, do you run around shaking trees looking for furniture or something?  Real life doesn't work that way...

But I find furniture in the dumpster at my school and my old appartment complex...logically they could also fall out of trees. You just haven't been lucky enough yet.

As a former Boy Scout I'm very familiar with camping, and you don't get to complain about camping until you've been camping in tiny tents just out in the woods in the middle of winter in 4 feet of snow.

I did that once. It was insane. I love Winter and all, but that was a bit much.
I hated Boy Scouts. I had a terrible time there. Everyong picked on me and they threw all my stuff out of the tent and all over they campsite just to get a reaction from me.

I need to get back into the game tonight now that things have settled down a bit in real life! I'll have hideous bed hair though and weeds growing all over my place!
That's what friends are for! I hate weeds, but I love to pull them!
And I don't care what your hair looks like, I'm not going to make fun of you unlike some people...

I have no idea what she's talking about, GP. I'll accept you and your awesome bedheadedness :)
I still have my bedhead. I think it is the coolest hair in the game.

When will you be on? I can come over and help pull weeds to if you'd like.

I have to leave at five PM though because I have work tonight. Do you have WiiSpeak?

I think I won my Bug-Off. I entered a orchid mantis to take the lead but I had to leave before it ended. I'm assuming my prize/trophy or whatever will just be in the mail or something?

I got the Mario Stache, Maxi. Thanks :)

I think I might need to play some Onslaught tonight.

I recently started playing it again on and off. I never beat the campaign. It is full of awesome.

I thought Kuribo's Shoe made an appearance in Super Princess Peach as well.

What? Is UncleBob a Wal-Mart greeter or something?

It depends on how much movement and abuse they get.

Though I know some older PC game boxes were built as if they were meant to be bomb shelters. Some of them were ridiculously thick and tough.

We'll just have to ham it up more in the role-playing/acting department :)

The only people I knew in Hawaii already moved to the mainland.

I do know a guy in Japan. I should ask if he has Mario Kart.

13414
I can understand that. Yet it doesn't stop my Dad. One of these days it could kill him. Maybe I should but him some fast reacting medicine just in case.

Yeah, Ice Climbers kind of opened the gate for anything Nintendo related.

Wouldn't it be great if they included EVERY powersuit from EVERY Mario game EVER?

I also wouldn't mind seeing a return of the turnip picking...

A game that had all this would be the ULTIMATE MARIO GAME OF ALL TIME!

throw in the minigames of SMB3 and i'm sold!

And the mini 'classic arcade Mario Brothers' versus mode where you could steal each others cards. That was awesome.

My friend needs early notice that we are going to go over to his house to play Hale 2 so that he can call his wife and have her boot up the system so we don't have to wait when we get there. Some unlucky times she is not there. The original XBox load times were horrible.

I'm pretty sure the've played multiplayer before Wednesday. Or was that just them showing off videos of it?

Nintendo cut all of the right deals to post reviews early.

Though I kind of assumed IGN would be doing the first one wince they and HVS are so buddy buddy. IGN did launch their game into the spotlight.

I went to get a frozen pizza and ate enough to feel sick. So I never ended up getting back on. I had left my Wii running and forgot about it so that's why I was pepetually connecting.

If your up for some more, I might be up for it after work tonight, though it will be pretty late (I get off at 3am Pacific Time).

If not then I can't do anything until wednesday night because that is my next night off.

With the way I was on fire today up until that point it must have been the latter. I only play the ghost challenges really and I don't think those count towards your 16 because I've done several dozen challenges.

And I'm still hungry.

I can't believe that Stratos is using Birdo + Mach Bike. I hate you so much right now.

When I turned on the game it said that Birdo was unlocked. So I felt that riding with him was in order for a few races.  :)

I left to find some food. I'm hungry. But there's either nothing worth making or nothing near me that I can motivate myself to go get to eat.

I want Arby's but the nearest one from here would take me about an hour round trip and I don't want to drve that far today.

I think I already have you in my FC list, but I'll double check when I go back on.

Also, I'm going to make this my official 'Mario Kart now!' thread. I'll change the date and stuff in the thread title for the next day we do a gathering or something spawns from the Mario Kart discussion thread.

If I find we are doing this frequently enough with enough people I'll even change the OP to add all of our FCs for newcomer convenience. Never know when someone else wants to join in the throng.

I would suggest flattening them out and putting them in those plastic sleve pages that people will put comics in. Get the ones with holes and but them all in a three ring binder. Then have that on a stand in your room and people can browse through them.

Just an idea.
