TalkBack / RE: eDemensional Puts Down Rumors Regarding Nintendo
« on: May 10, 2005, 08:34:45 PM »
Exactly what I am thinking. Then again, maybe they just like Nintendo.

I myself would love 3D hologram like graphics, I mean just imagine being able to almost reach out and touch a hot chick in a game!...

We get plenty of hurricanes, hah, um, take that New York!

And not competing because someone other store starts to sell the same products is ridiculous, if a store just wusses out every time some one competes, then they wouldn't be in business.

Capcom sums' a bitches!

OK, Can anyone tell me how Capcom was able to get out of the "Capcom five contract" with nearly every game?
Didn't Mikami himself say even he didn't expect Capcom to honor his contracts anymore? And does this mean that Nintendo PAID for this game to be developed and now Capcom gets a free game to port to the Piss-Station-2?

I didn't like there dealings before and now I officially declare That Capcom SUCKS!

In effect, Nintendo DS already boasts a library of more than 550 games because it is compatible with single-player modes of games made for the world's best-selling video game system, Game Boy® Advance SP.

I'm a little bit dissapointed that Nintendo didn't set up a system where the DS can "emulate" the GBA's Link Cable over the wireless connection. Sure, maybe you could never do GBA-to-DS connections without the link port, but if those Warp Pipe guys can emulate the GameCube's System Link LAN connections over the internet, it shouldn't be too hard for Nintendo themselves to do something similar for DS-to-DS GBA-game linking.

And, seeing that Nintendo seems to be saying "30-100 feet" now for the wireless range (as opposed to just "100 feet, or 30 meters"), it's annoying that it's apparently not even compatible with Nintendo's recently-launched "Wireless Adaptors" for the GBA (which themselves are only compatible with select games).

Edit: But I guess combined with it not playing GBC games (which seems to be all-but-confirmed now), we'll just have to live with the DS "not being a perfect GBA replacement". It just seems like a shame to me, since it's so very close. I guess I'll just have to live with my not-yet-portable GameBoy Player.

From what I heard it's supposed to have a range of 30ft minimum and up to 100ft in open/clear areas.

TalkBack / RE: DS Software Can Access GBA Slot
« on: September 19, 2004, 12:30:27 PM »
Hmm, It would be cool if the DS hardware could access and display stuff from both carts at the same time, Like you could be playing a GBA game on one screen and have a strat guide or a map on a DS cart(if it allows it) and playing on the other.

Oh, the DS. This is obviously much sleeker. The lid is kind of wonky, but I'm just being a bitch now. Hopefully the chat comment was hinting at it being bulit-in, but I won't hold my breath.

And I'm going to have to be the devil's advocate on the speakers. Stereo speakers on such a small device are utterly worthless. We're just going to end up with games that have an exaggerated stereo mix, even worse than TV. Maybe most games will have a 'headphones' setting.

What do you mean by that? If you mean having a Microphone built in, Then the answer is, YES. In the picture if you look closely you can see a tiny hole with the name "Mic" above it.

TalkBack / RE:Datel To Release Memory Cards Soon

That card is 16 megabytes, The same as Nintendo's is going to be I think, If I am correct then that would mean that there just compressing the data more to be able to hold twice as much as other 16 meg cards.

I really wish that some company would come out with a wireless gaming device, so they can be wireless like the n-gage.
