3DS Demos Hitting North American, European eShop Tomorrow
« on: January 18, 2012, 10:51:07 AM »

A Resident Evil: Revelations demo hits both regions, while Europe gets an exclusive Cooking Mama 4 demo.

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/28994

Playable demos are coming to the eShop in North America and Europe starting tomorrow, more than a month after demos launched in Japan.

The debut demos are Resident Evil: Revelations (North America and Europe) and Cooking Mama 4 (Europe). Resident Evil: Revelations hits shelves in both regions in the next few weeks. Cooking Mama 4 has been in stores since November.

Additionally, Nintendo confirmed future demo releases of Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D (both regions), Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (both regions), Rhythm Thief (Europe), and Rayman Origins (North America). Mario & Sonic even received a specific release date, with the demo coming in next week's eShop update.

I'm so glad, I've been looking forward to demos the most. I really can't wait for the Rayman demo though.
I really hope they eventually put a Kingdom Hearts 3D demo up.

I swear to God if we do not get a Rhythm Thief demo...

I mean, SEGA is putting out a demo for Mario and Sonic at the Olympics AND NOBODY WILL BUY THAT GAME AFTER THEY PLAY THE DEMO!

Guys, maybe we should include the 20m walk as an event.

HOW ABOUT NO, SEGA? HOW ABOUT NO?

Ooh, 20m walk?  Is that an event this time?  I need to start paying closer attention.
Can't wait to preorder.

The one thing I hate about getting demos is having a limit on how many times we can play them. It is just ridiculous. It's not like if playing a demo over and over again is going to make me not want to buy the full game.

Who honestly plays a demo 30 times though? Unless they have no desire to actually buy the game and just plan to play the demo.

Which ones? I have not been checking other sites, all I have seen posted here was 30 times or time limited.

I used to play the PGR3 and Fight Night 3 demos from XBox Live all the time...Call of Duty 2 as well. There are some games that can be fun to play over and over again in demo form.

If playing the demo doesn't make you want to buy the game, then you're not the target audience of that demo...
