Burnout 3 Ads - What?
« on: August 22, 2004, 11:05:40 PM »
I'm just wondering why/how the ads for this game have ended up on PGC?
For those unaware, I have seen them when I mainly visit GC Discussion.
Considering that there is no planned GC version, its like a stab in the eye with a rusty fork.

BUY THIS GAME! OH WAIT, ITS NOT FOR GAMECUBE! MWAHAHAHAHA! *PARRY* *THRUST* *STAB* and then the hurting starts.

Would anyone have a clue? Or is EA up to shenanigans?

EDIT: One was just on the sidebar of this page. How ironic!

I keep expecting the red car to ram the blue one off the road, but no. I've seen Xbox adverts here before, "Hey guys now you can get ETM for cheap on Xbox!" they don't worry me.

Anyway, Burnout 3 is going to totally own. THE WORLD.

I remembered they had FF X-2 ads on PGC so I'm guessing they just rent out the space and anyone can have it.

I thought EA said BO3 is coming to the GC?
Besides, they're sometimes advertising diverse XBox-specific things here, so it's not like their advertisers care for the demographics.

I just found it really annoying to see that game advertised here after it got "cancelled" (as far as I know) but its not the first non-Nintendo advertising here. Oh well.

AND I spotted a VJ PS2 ad on PGC too.
