General Gaming / The Zelda Movie needs you(atlesast your money)
« on: April 23, 2013, 04:54:48 PM »
please help http://thezeldamovie.com/

come on lets all help make this a reality. I myself have no affiliation with this project, but have been in contact with someone who is. This is my possible contribution: I went to the Isle of Skye in Scotland back in 2008, to pick up the real actual Master Sword. I was in contact with the smith for about a year, discusing how the sword should end up. I actually had him start all over at one time. Kind of a dramatic proces that had it's ups and downs for sure. The sword was meant as a gift for my nephews confirmation. I was supposed to do a speech at the celebration. The idea was to intertwine the confirmation ritual with the Zelda template story, of a young boy growing old enough to attain the Master Sword and travelling out in the real world to become an adult.

Here's some footage for the trip, shot from my TV screen with a really crappy camera:

He has also made this one: http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/9387

This is the sword he made for me: http://www.castlekeep.co.uk/gallery.asp?galleryid=226

you probably have some inputs aswell. They also have a kickstarter http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1316851183/its-dangerous-to-go-alonethe-movie I'm a backer myself :) you could be one too :) :)

this is the reason you should buy the special version for the original Xbox insted(from the ign review):

I love the First-Person mode, because it not only solves control issues, but it works perfectly for Fatal Frame II. This is a horror game, one that needs you fully involved, to be completely wrapped up in game, so that it can then scare your boxers off. If there is a Fatal Frame III -- and I'm pretty certain there will be -- first-person should be the only option. You really get a great sense of perspective and because your field of vision is more limited, it's a lot easier to get surprised by the sudden appearance of a ghost

the best version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 should be the WiiU version!?!? c'mon all of you know, the game will be developed for the 360 and then ported over to Ps3, WiiU and even Wii

this game will probably keep more casual gamers away from the WiiU than it will attract hardcore gamers to the WiiU

for the past 4 years I have been listening to around 10-15 videogame podcasts a week and I can honestly say this one has been the best one yet!

the 3D will make you see double when the monsters get to you and you have to tap Y to free yourself. The use of the touchscreen for unscrewing the screws is a novelty at best and finally; although this game looks awesome, especially the character models and enemies, why would anyone wan't to play this kind of game on a handheld? Portables are for playing on the go often in bright daylight with people around you -not the right enviroment for enjoying a horror game. IMO.

WHAT A SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!

You just celebrated your 200th. episode by talking about SOME of the history for ONE Nintendo platform. Although I must say very thoroughly and informative. It is always a joy to hear about the stuff behind the platforms and games. ALWAYS. and here is my quote for the DS: I wasted 53 hours of my life with Nintendogs: Chihuahua and friends but I will never forget the day when Abi my Chihuahua bitch  ran away from home by itself and returned with a present in it's jaws. THAT MADE ME HAPPY AND I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU ABI
