I want to see some new prizes. I've got all the prizes I wanted: Hanafuda cards, Silver DS game pouch with aluminum stylus.

I'm wondering if the change of the fiscal year is going to be when they add new items.
I'm still saving up for the Game & Watch game. Though I may postpone getting that if they reveal the Blue Wiimote and Nunchuck combo. I want that more.

Well I'm hoping they do something big since it is the 1st year in the U.S.
You would think that they want to encourage people to try even harder next year, or atleast register what they do have.

Besides going big this year will keep hope alive for every year after even though next year will probably be LOLworthy by comparison.

This is really stretching it, but maybe they will give us all a Blue Wiimote/Nunchuck? One can dream...

I wonder if they would consider offering classic controller pros on there. That would really encourage people to enter their points.

I'm hoping they offer some new prizes because currently there's nothing I want. If there's nothing new offered then I will probably get the Game and Watch Collection and sell it.

i agree 100%. If it was a COMPLETE collection of game and watch than it would be cool.

This is from Nintendo's website:

Quote
Congratulations! You reached  Platinum  status and earned a Special Reward.
Club Nintendo Special Rewards will be announced by the end of July 2009. We will send you an email notification when your reward is available.
Note: If you are a member of a Club Nintendo Family account, your Account Administrator will have to accept this Special Reward.

Special Reward orders will be distributed by the end of the calendar year.
As part of the Club Nintendo year end, your Elite Status Coin total has been reset. Coins earned between July 1st 2009 through June 30th 2010 will count towards next year's Elite Status Special Reward! Remember, although your status has been reset your Coin balance remains the same.

I was hoping to know TODAY what the prize is, not the end of the month. LAME  :P

They've been great to Japan with Club Nintendo giveaways. On year the big prize was a awesome Super Mario Galaxy deluxe soundtrack. Another year it was a new version of Balloon Fight starring Tingle.

You would think that they want to encourage people to try even harder next year, or atleast register what they do have.

If anything, I would think that this year would have a much smaller prize than future years, considering it was so easy for many people to reach Platinum status.  Anything that you purchased (and registered) over the past 3 or 4 years counted towards last year's coins.  This year will see fewer people achieve Platinum status because they actually have to accumulate the coins in the next 12 months.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Thats why you go big now. More people will be inclined to try and get Platinum status again by purchasing even more Nintendo games within a shorter time frame, participate in the surveys and the the "Plan To Buy" program. The profits from WiiPlay alone will cover any sort of Platinum prize effort.

I wish someone could contact someone at Nintendo and even find out how many people registered their stuff to reach Platinum or Gold status.

If it's something that Nintendo wants you to know, they'll put out a press release later this month.

That would be an interesting thing to know. Because if we could get enough people to post certain types of comments on our game surveys then maybe we can force NoA to lighten up or change things.

I berated them for releasing Brawl too early. I think that a few of the more favored characters that were not included would have been in there and the Wi-Fi would have been better it it cam out in the Summer.

How much you want to bet he is going to order a bunch of the blue Wiimotes once they show up on the store and sell them on eBay?
