Just Dance Wii 2 is releasing throughout Japan on the Nintendo Wii during July, according to the latest Nintendo Direct video.

This version of Just Dance is the Japanese version of the North American game Just Dance 3. Instead of simply localizing the game, Iwata pointed out that Nintendo updates the game to be more appropriate to Japanese culture.

So Ubisoft let Nintendo publish the Just Dance games in Japan? No wonder they've been so slow with localizing the series over there. We've had 5 Just Dance games so far, all on Wii, and Japan is just now getting Just Dance 2?

Somewhere in Japan, there are angry nerds on the internet complaining that NoJ is butchering the translation of the Just Dance games.

"This version of Just Dance is the Japanese version of the North American game Just Dance 3."

Just Dance Wii had content from the first 2 games. This is a modified version of the third game (which came out here about 6 months ago) in which "Nintendo updates the game to be more appropriate to Japanese culture." So it's not just them localizing the game.
