For example, Super Spicy Curry being the only item left on with a max frequency... leaving all players running around on fire, while also being "super combo" machines. ^_^

That's how I assumed it would work until I saw the Kirby connection, which makes me doubtful.  I can still imagine it being picked up because it looks like food, so I hope it causes some damage to its consumer just to make it funnier.  The game could use a few more detrimental items, just so long as they don't go overboard.

I just got to listen to "Animal Crossing: Go K.K. Rider!."  I have one thing to say:

It's Mega-Man-eriffic.

I forgot to mention this earlier, but it's implied that the Fire Flower is returning, which isn't surprising, but still nice...I'm hoping they change the design so it, you know, actually resembles the Fire Flower from the Mario games... ='D

It be cool if you could change into a fire version of each character and throw fireballs.

classic Andross!

And Meta Knight has a nice move-set too... =3  (It's sort of weird that they revealed it before his profile, but I guess he'll be this week's character...)

Definately one of my favorite updates, I can't wait to see how Andross fits in, he doesn't look like a boss. Perhaps an assist trophy?

I thought it was apparent he's an assist trophy. . . In any case, if you ever wonder about that sort of thing you can view the updates by category. Andross is in the Assist Trophy tab of the Item section.

And yeah, retro Andross is a neat update. Personally though I actually kinda think the curry was the more interesting update as far as gameplay goes.

Well, MetaKnight's moves actually didn't excite me too much.  Though, I hope the triple Dash can change direction like Pikachu's Dash.

I just realized why they didn't excite me.  They remind me too much of a combination of Mario and Luigi's move set together...except without a fireball.  Perhaps it will be a better designed move set, but still it is very similar to that combination.

Somebody at Hal LOVES classic Andross. This is the second time he's been featured as a trophy in the SSB games.

I think that many, perhaps most, of the Trophies from SSBM will become Assist Trophies in SSBB. We'll see.

I think you're right.  They've already got the models, so why not use them?

Well they aren't using them:

vs.

The assist trophies look a hell of a lot better than the old Melee trophies did, so clearly they aren't reusing the old models they created.

And Dr. Wright...And Samurai Goroh...And Devil was supposed to be in Melee, but he was cut out...

Marin is a trophy in Melee, so she sure as hell better be an Assist Trophy!

That doesn't mean they're not re-using the models, they may just be editing them and improving the texture massively.

Though I remember someone ripping one of the Trophies from SSB:M. I think it was the Goron. That thing had a huge poly count, so I think they're re-making most of them, perhaps recycling bits here or there.

Besides, there weren't previous trophies for Knuckle Joe or the Devil anyway.

Well it's nice to see the original Star Fox getting some love.  If it wasn't for Smash Bros then the original Star Fox would probobly be forgotten.  Most people only know about Star Fox because of 64, and so it makes me happy to see Sakurai showing people how Star Fox really began.

Plus I love classic Andross much more then N64 Andross.  I'll take a trippy face shooting polygonal panels over some evil monkey head who want to eat me anyday.

He looks the same to be except for better texture.  I mean if we stripped him to where he was colored with only 1 color I think they be almost the same.

Except the lower torso being different, and the fact that the fingers are much larger on Wright in Brawl than the Melee trophy had... in fact, they look more "cartoony" now in proportion, which would indicate to me that there was a different artist behind each model.
