TalkBack / RE: Nintendo Offers Brain Age to President Bush
« on: July 07, 2006, 04:20:05 PM »
Political crap aside (I think pretty much all polticians are Senile old fools, including my Uncle Jom Jeffords, who was completely mentally gone at my family reunion) this is one of the funniest and most brilliant things Nintendo has ever done.

in case anybody wants to know, if you got your DS Lite at any Gamestop, and it has a stuck pixel, if you bring it to them within 7 days they'll exchange it for a new one free of charge. I got my new one today and its stuck pixel free!

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Official DS Lite Thread!

Thanks, Athrun Zala. It's not really that annoying, and I don't feel like waiting ANOTHER six to eight weeks to play my DS Lite, so I'll just deal with it untill I get a black DS Lite whenever I can do that.

I have a quick question for anyone out there. Has anyone experienced having a constant red or blue pixel on the touch screen of their DS Lite or original DS? If so, do you know if there is any way to get rid of it, will it just go away, or should I replace the system? Any help would be appreciated.

Killer. Mabye now Nintendo can have some decent Mature games and GOOD sports games to shove in the face of those Nintendo haters saying they're too childish.

May I be the first to say... Wat the f@#k!? Why does this thing exist? Why would they choose to release the iteration of Monopoly now? It all just seems very strange to me...

TalkBack / RE: Tingle RPG Details Emerge

As long as we're talking about mockeries of Zelda... how about the three games on the Panasonic CD system in the early '90s, and (potentially) Phantom Hourglass.

Sweet Jebus what a weird idea. Who in God's name wants to play as Tingle?

TalkBack / RE: DS Lite Midnight Sale in New York
« on: June 08, 2006, 03:56:44 PM »
Another one of the only times I wish I could be in NY. I guess I'll just have to wait till Sunday here in MD. The color doesn't really matter to me, but if they ever do release a black DS Lite I'll just sell my white one to my brother (who still thinks I'm an idiot for even getting a Lite).

TalkBack / RE: Nintendo Kicks Off Touch Generations in N. America

As long as they can maintain the high quality of these games, the Touch Generation marketing should work fairly well in North America too.

TalkBack / RE: IMPRESSIONS: Virtual Console
« on: May 25, 2006, 01:44:16 PM »
Hopefully by the time the full version of the Virtual Console is finished cracking will no longer be an issue. Since the classic controller is not included with the system, Nintendo needs to at least release it's price (as well as the prices of other peripherals) at the same time as they release the price of the Wii. While the Virtual Console may not be the biggest sell point of the Wii, if it works smoothly enough at launch it might seduce some of thosee classic gaming psychos over to the Wii.

A new beginning is exactly what this series needs. The last good Spyro game was the second one on the Playstation 1.

I knew the controls would work out in the end. Other than the crappy default controls almost everthing I read about the game sounds often. This will most definitely be the first game I get for the Wii (along with Twilight Princess of course).

Wonderful, just what Nintendo needs. Another crappy game based off a somewhat (at least in America) popular anime TV show. I predict much disappointment for fans of the seres.

TalkBack / RE: Super Smash Bros. Brawl
« on: May 11, 2006, 02:59:05 AM »
Dammit! Why, oh why do I have to wait another to get my hands on some Smash Bros. goodness! It is pretty awesome that they finally decided to put Wario in the game, and my favorite Kirby character of all time, Meta Knight. I have a feeling that just like the Smash Bros. games before it, Brawl will be one of the best games for the system. Please let it at least come out in early 2007.

TalkBack / RE: PREVIEWS: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
« on: May 10, 2006, 11:45:53 AM »
It makes me happy to see that Nintendo isn't completely abandonning the Wind Waker art style. I'm not at all worried about the controls because the game will still be awesome even if the controls are a bit funky. Nintendo always makes stuff work when it comes to Zelda games.

Based on Retro's previous work most, if not all, of these bugs should be worked out by the time they're finished. If all goes well, Prime 3 should be an excellent addition to the Metroid franchise.

While I personally don't care about football or football videogames, it is nice to fave official confirmation from a company like EA.
