But, for those curious and who don't want to follow every channel in the Discord chat, what I said was this:
As for the forums, I should post my latest "Save the Forums" idea but it's a pretty simple concept. Just make 5 posts a day. If we had our 20 regulars do that then you'd have 100 new posts a day. That activity may then incite other infrequent users to post with that kind of activity. Not every post has to be something great to. It might just be a couple words in reply to someone else. Still, it's up to everyone to figure out how and what their posts may be. Of course, a person can do more than 5 if they want. But sticking to that minimum could make a big difference.
Again, it's not like every post a person makes has to be something of general interest for other users. I had been thinking of this last week and I'm currently averaging just over 8 posts a day in the past 6 days and there are a couple days where I was under 5 posts that day. Yet, the reason for keeping that average up has been from posting a bunch of stuff in the Matchmaking Forum of late. Not everyone is going to care or follow those posts but it is activity in that forum. Much like people posting in response to Podcasts in the Podcast Forum. I don't really follow that forum or its threads so the posts don't mean much to me.
Still, if we did have at least 20 people posting 5 things a day then there are going to be times where people are posting in other forums and topics on things that do crossover with the interests of other people and that should lead to more postings by others and make it easier for one to come up with ways to keep posting on this site to the point where we aren't trying to count the number we make in a day.
