Looks like garbage to me. To me looks just like the first Prince of Persia I got on Gamecube a long time ago. But worst of all nunchuk punches, yuck! Metroid Prime is the game that did Nunchuk movement right, it really felt like I through something out and pulled it back in again.

I think it looks fine. It's not the best the Wii can do graphically, but it seems to have very unique gameplay when compared to the HD version, with the whole Draw your own Path, the Sand Powers (are those in the HD game?) and Co-Op path helper.

this one is shaping up pretty nicely to me. It looks like they are working on the "game" side of things on this one.

Well Tom Salta is going to being making the music for this game.
Other games you might know his music from is Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanceed Warfighter 1 and 2.
Need For Speed:Underground 2

Red Steel
Red Steel 2.
There are others but I think those are his most well known ones.

I knew there was something fishy about this game's graphics.

The modeling is suspiciously close to the PSP VERSION.

Not sure why people complain about the graphics, sure they don't look great but what WII game does?  Isn't just about the gameplay?  It sounds like Ubisoft is actually making an effort to use WII motion controllers into the gameplay which is a good thing in my book.  Not only did they state it but they also mentioned an exclusive script?  Which means maybe there would be a reason to play the WII version even if you played the others.

Just thought I would mention that this game was on Nintendo week. For those interested in the game you might want to check it out. It covers the gameplay, sand powers, and co-op.

Also Nintendo Power gave it a 8.0
Only real problems they mentioned was the camera. It sometimes doesn't frame the action well.

Game comes out on May 18th.

I'm waiting for a price drop/used on one of the two versions, probably the PS3 version.  No offense to the Wii version (which has been getting just as average->above-average scores), but seeing an alternative version of an HD game where one of the main characters is a golden female genie and you're running through ruins just brings back way too many bad memories of Sonic and the Secret Rings.   ;)   Besides, I like the gameplay possibilities of the water freezing/unfreezing more than what I've seen of the Wii version.

As for why I'm waiting, I don't want to reward Ubisoft for seemingly abandoning the very-promising Prince of Persia 2008 Universe in favor of this quasi-movie tie-in.  Besides, money's a little tight right now.

I'll post some gameplay impressions of the Wii one once it arrives in the mail.

And Two Thrones, if you don't own it already.  Two Thrones is probably my favorite of the trilogy.   ;D   It was the only game in the trilogy to get the balance between combat and platforming right.

I don't own any Prince of Persia game, so I figure it is best to start with the first (of the modern series). If I like it, I may go for more of them, but we'll see.

Hey I ask that for two reasons. To let people know it is out and to hear about the game from people that have it.

Broodwars that reminds me I have to finish The Two Thrones.
I still need to find Sands of Time and Warrior Within.

Got the review copy today. I only got a chance to put in about 20 minutes or so. First impression is that it looks unimpressive graphically (kind of a disappointment after seeing early screens/video), but it controls well. Combat is waggle-based, which could prove to be awful.
