I can vouch for this from last game.

Aye, that's that, then... Ah drew tha short stick, and I'll not run away lahk some sart of coward... (Groundskeeper Willie walks sheepishly up to Mayor Quimby, hands held out in front of him to be cuffed) I imagine yeh'll be takin' me inta custody now for the... ehh... "duties to be performed," shall we say. (Eddie and Lou come up and cuff Willie, then begin leading him away)

But, there's one thing that Ah regret... (he stops, reaches into his shirt pocket and pulls out...

... the keys to Duchess, and throws them to Quimby). Take good care of 'er, wontcha, lad? The schoolyard needs ta be moowed twice a week, now, and someone hasta prune the trees back every couple a months, and yeh always hafta be on guard for those kids fallin' down wells and such, and... (Willie's voice trails off as he gets further away, still rattling on about the schoolyard maintenance)

Alright, guys, work's done for the day, woo!!

I took a screen cap and posted it. I'm not sure how to put it in the forums like I saw 18 days do, but it's on the link below. Check it out, Pryo. I hope it's enough, otherwise, the townies are outta luck. I'm not sure what else I can do to convince you.

If anything, my main mistake was not getting together with more townies at the beginning of the game. I hope that doesn't seal the deal on us though.

Screen Shot of my PM folder

P.S. – Nuclearspeed, nice try, but Zach didn't mention anything about a "liquor license" (though I would have gotten a kick out of it being worded that way, I have to admit).

Or not, if this keeps up

If I have to, I'll post a screen shot of my message from Zach later on, after work. I believed you last week, Pryo, when you said you're Krusty... Unfortunately, it sounds like some behind-the-scenes shenanigans are going on, and if this is the case, Nuclearspeed is shiftier than I thought.

I hope you'll believe me and vote Nuclearspeed with me.

Alright, decision made. If there's the chance to eliminate one Mafia entirely, it makes the most sense to do it. If Mr. Monkey turns out to be innocent, then... I don't know. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

VOTE COUCHMONKEY

(Wille puts down his accusatory pitchfork and crosses his arms in a thoughtful manner, the rusty cogs of his wee intellect struggling to consider this new information)

Well, lad, that's quite the bold statement there. If tis true... well, Ah've misjudged yeh, and Ah'm willin' to reconsider and vote along with ye. But if ye're a lyin' dog, the real and true Krusty is bound to pipe up before the end o' the day...

(but Willie slowly begins losing his cool, clearly perplexed by the complexity of the situation)

Unless ye're mafia, and ye're just in CAHOOTS with the real Krusty. Oh, Wille, yeh bloated frog, USE yer NOGGIN! What shood Ah doo, what should Ah doo?!

Actually, I agree with Couchmonkey, but I think you should be included in that list, Pryo. In fact, you have perhaps been the LOWEST profile of the game, for someone who's an old pro at this.

Your posts always sound so authentic and as I read them, my mind automatically uses the character's voice for the words. Great job guys. Someone needs to praise your hard work.

Alright. I'll include Stevey too. Truth is, when I read Stevey's post, I always had Duffman saying your words as well. Good job!

Haha, thanks, Khush. It's hard keeping it sounding good though without resorting to lots of "Laddy"s and "Ach"s and all. I'm really digging Couchmonkey's and Stevey's as well. It would've been cool if everyone had chosen a character, or if Zach had just chosen ones for the people who didn't choose for themselves. It would've made interacting in the role plays a lot easier. As it is, everyone who's not a character is just a "generic member of the riotous mob," so I can't really address anyone.

One thing I really liked about Pale's game was the work he did with the avatars. I especially got a kick out of 18 Days' avatar as it changed through the days (losing its leaves, smile turning to a frown turning to a GIANT smile, etc.). I found myself laughing out loud on more than one occasion just because of the avatars.

You sure are set on the 19th, eh Pale?

But is your "evidence" (that it's X years to the day after the GC launch) any more concrete than opinions from developers?

Unless.... you have evidence OTHER than just that. Spill it, man!

You are a gentleman and a scholar, UB. Thanks for checking these out for me! I am now the proud owner of all treasures in the game, and of course, it was the 3rd one that I missed. I just had to drop down - so simple!

Anyways, thanks again for the help

Nintendo Gaming / Drill Dozer Help!
« on: August 07, 2006, 07:21:46 PM »
Hey guys...

I'm looking for help in finding Treasure #12. All I know is that it has to be in Area 4-1, Metal City... but I've gone through several times, and I can't find it. Any help would be great.

Also, the game's great, for those of you who haven't picked it up. Now that you can find it fairly easy for ~$10, NO EXCUSES.
