Haha yeah I haven’t had any luck with the Golden furniture either. 2 Golden Man statues and a bench so far. I have a few gold nuggets left, so maybe I’ll hold onto them so we can dupe a bunch more. Does a complete Golden Series set go for a lot on the trading market?

No, I've offered basically every Golden piece in trade for a Golden Screen and some other items and got nothing. People aren't looking for it but they also aren't offering it. It's weird but I guess it just isn't that desired.

Hold on to the Fireworks and Bug Off stuff for now. My intention is to just get them in game but I may lose my patience for it and decide to dupe them if I want to speed things along or it proves to be annoying. (Horrors of Festivale still haunt me.)

It's a good thing you mentioned the walls and carpets. I thought I had already duped the music room floor and garden wall with you. I've actually ended up with both pieces since trading for them so we don't even have to dupe them. I can just give you copies. That's the way this game works. Don't get a sci-fi wall in trade but I get copies of everything else I actually traded for.

Back to Weeding Furniture. I need 3 volunteers. I finally got 50 weeds in my village meaning Leif is now in the village and wants to get them picked. If I pick them all, Leif will give me one of the pieces of furniture I already have. It is only visitors that help pick weeds that can get new items. Visitors only have to pick a single weed to qualify which is great since I want to pick most of them to keep on working towards that Golden Weeding badge. (I just recently got silver. Only 3,000 more to go!)

Basically, I need to wrangle 3 other players that can show up at the same time when I activate the weed picking quest and each pick a weed then talk to Leif and get an item. Who can help? I'd like to do this sooner than later as I'm still playing catch-up. (It's June 16 in my town. Still so far behind...)

I worry about Pokepal148's connection. I do alright with other people but I think his connection is why we had errors the other day. Unfortunately, you won't find me in game as I'm keeping it off until I've got the helpers needed. Right now, I have to shovel around villages to cage them and keep them from picking any weeds. They were picking too many weeds on me.  As such, I don't want to load the game until it is meet up time with my helpers to ensure that weeds do not get plucked on us.

More than that, when you come off the train, I want all the helpers to grab some furniture items I'll have waiting so that they are entered into everyone's catalogue. I'm hoping in this way to prevent getting a duplicate item. Then. when talking to Leif and a player gets a piece of furniture, they need to drop it so that the next helper can then pick it up and enter that into their catalogue to, again, hopefully prevent a duplicate item from being given. Then you can all get the heck out of town!


Maybe I better see if I can't score some kind of trade for them after all. Lousy game making things so darn complicated.

So, I was able to get 3 of the 4 Bug-Out items. However, like the Fishing tourney items, they are divided into two groups. Unfortunately, the Spiderweb clock is in Group B. I was able to get the other items since they were in group A. Oh well, give me something to do for the Bug-Out next month I guess.

Sweet! Yeah most of that stuff will be relatively easy to obtain. The rare fish and bugs will be probably be the worst. Nice that you only have 1 diving creature left! I find the diving rather slow and boring. If things spawned more often, it wouldn't be so bad.

There's a Bug Off today so let's hope it's the group we need for the Spiderweb Clock!


Nope, wrong set of items. I was able to get the Caterpillar Bed and Snail Clock I was missing as well though. Just need the Spiderweb Clock and Cicada Stereo from the other set.
