I like that idea stratos, never heard of it, but sounds like a good game.

Also, I would nominate Future Tactics, while I think the game is good, I do not think it would be a good pick for a retroactive... so I am not nominating it, but just giving it a shout out.

If anyone is interested, I recommend you look at this video to see some New super Mario bros wii Pro players doing amazing combos. Also shows the full extent of some items, and how you can use more then one person to get a awesome bonus.

I vote for GEIST! One of the most overlooked games on gamecube. It involved strategy, problem solving and a original first person shooter engine.

For those of you who do not know, you control a ghost who can control objects and people to carry out his tasks. for fighting for example, if you have a room ahead of you filled with heavy machine gunners and you only are in control of a weaponless engineer, you can leave the body, go past them as ghost, find a machine gun turrent to take over to riddle the guards from behind, or take over a explosive crate to self destruct it. There are so many possibilitys and also rough but decent graphics, voiced, and I thought the story was awesome.

Does this really surprise anyone?  There's ALWAYS been a new Mario game in development since 1981.

Of course there always will be another one. I just meant to show there was the next one in the workings if anyone cared, and there are many people who do care.

(sorry about bad quality, did want to make a lag here)

Princess Peach Panty Raid

I can only imagine what Charles Martinet (the voice of Mario) lines are for this one.... Well, he did say "it's going to be crazy fun!" in his twitter page

NEW MARIO GAME?!

Well here is the story...

From:http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=377285
Quote
Charles Martinet (the voice of Mario) recently teased about doing a voice recording gig in Seattle for a new Mario title. He says that it's not for New Super Mario Bros. Wii or Mario Galaxy 2.

I hope it's not another Mario Party or Mario Sports title though.

Here's what he said on Twitter about it:

- Mama Mia!!!! I'm going to Seattle this week to record a new Mario game! Woo Hooo!!!!! I can hardly wait!!!!1

- Big day tomorrow! Seattle for a new Mario game! Yippee!!! And just as a joke, it's going to rain....in San Francisco tomorrow!

- Awesome new Mario Game! And it's not NSMB Wii, and it's not Galaxy 2, but it's going to be crazy fun!

I did not check this twitter post as I do not know how to use twitter, could someone check this for us? Also, I KNOW there is a Bloody "rumors" topic somewhere here, but call me stupid because I cannot find it... yes I did search, but that did not help at all.

Anyways, what you think it is? I would say something secondary like a mario party, or a sports game (tennis, soccer, golf), but he says "It is crazy fun" so I do not know if it is something else...

Actually, I know so little about these games that I probably won't vote at all unless there's a tie.

I agree, I never heard about any of them... *Cough* Cho aniki *cough*

Keep up the great job with the podcast! love them XD

Why isn't this in the rumor thread, not to mention why is it is in the General Console forum?

There is a rumor thread?

Also, if you wonder of the art work on the starfox nintendo power is fake or not, here is my view on it.

Bad
-Blurred
-Same style art work from assult

Good
-Little details like the tip of the wing of the arwing overlapping the N in nintedo power looks profesional

I think this is real, I don't know if it will be the next nintendo power, or the one after it. It could VERY well be a fake too, but either way, as a starfox fan, I'll be happy for any sequal at this point.

Nintendo Gaming / New starfox revealed in a upcomming Nintendo power?!
« on: August 28, 2009, 12:00:38 PM »
Well the following is just a rumor from a translated website Nintendocu.com (may be another official nintendo website for another country, but not sure, I am not THAT smart  :-[ )

Anyways, as far as the translation goes, it appears two  upcoming nintendo powers were leaked to the public... here they are.

As some of you may know the first one was allready released, the starfox one not. I'll be honest, the website doesn't make much sence, doesn't say if this will be the next nintendo power, or the one after (IF AT ALL). SO I'll leave you guys to duel it out if it is a fake or not.

The rumor was as follows:

* İsmi Star Fox Wii: Battle for Corneria * Name Star Fox Wii: Battle for Corneria
* Motion Plus destekli * Motion Plus support
* Wii Speak ve Online Battle destekli. * Wii Speak and Online Battle enhanced.

Why was that made for me? Did i miss out on a joke?

edit: who is our forum .gif maker/editor?
I have a request.

While true, I need to get flash up and running again first. After that, I'll be more then happy to help :D

It was either Spinzilla or Snipper64 who've offered there services for animated avatars for our "community" here.

I picked it up. I was afriad because I played 1-2 allready, but I don't own them, number 3 I never played. I picked it up, and was very happy with the layout, the games, even the shirt, poster and box was awsome. I am glad I got it, better then what I expected. So far I am loving number 3

I work at a Pizza Hut too (just a take-out delivery one), and even though we don't reguarly tip in Australia, I have received all sorts of tips & gifts from customers. Admittedly most have been from "regulars", but there have been times where I have been tipped from new customers.

On my birthday this year I received a wallet from this lady who always came in and talked to me. It was a pretty ****ty wallett, so I feigned enjoyment. She sort of shuffled off pretty quickly after giving the present, which was odd, but after I went around back and checked inside the wallett I found out she had given me $70. I was shocked, flattered, but I tried to give it back. She said it was "for all the times I gave her discounts when I shouldn't have."

Not to mention a few years back when I used to work as a driver I delivered to some guys who had just won the lottery, they had about a $50 order and tipped me $500 and invited me back to their house after I finished to their party. Good times were had by all.

That is pretty awsome dude!

He should have taught his son real life isn't a video game

I don't think this guy joined the army just because he like call of duty. Millions of people love call of duty, and yet they don' all join the army, I think that is a unfair thing to say. My cousin played a few games of call of duty with me, and he inlisted, but that was for many diffrent matters, such as collage, and sence of duty...

Sorry to target you, just thought it was unfair to say.

I wish to apologize ahead of time, if I offended anyone here by posting this, I just feel like it was a good story.

Personaly some of my best child hood moments was my mother helping me beat banjo-kazooie, or shooting down my father in starfox64.

British Private Richard Hunt made the ultimate sacrifice last week when his company was struck by an explosive device while on patrol in Afghanistan.

During a well-attended ceremony back home in Monmouthshire on what would have been the fallen soldier’s 22nd birthday, Private Hunt’s father, Phillip, commemorated the time they spent together playing Call of Duty: World at War.

Along with flowers and other items, a copy of the game was laid at the site of the memorial service. A handwritten not attached to the game read:

“Happy Birthday ‘Hunty’. Play you again one day. Dad.”

I decided to try some new sprite .gifs for now, first one is Lavos core!

P.S. I would love to thank the podcast gang for showing me chrono trigger, For years the Dragon ball Z art kept me away from it, and dragon quest, but I tried CT and love it. I guess I'll have to go with your word and try dragon quest someday soon.

NWR Forums Discord / Battle toads... for wii?!
« on: August 09, 2009, 12:08:38 AM »
Yah, I mentioned in a older post, i just bought a SNES from a relitive. It came with 10 games, and all of whiched I liked, one of the funnest two player games were, battle toads. Battle toads is a side scroller brawler that not only kicked the baddies a$$, but your friends as well as traditionaly you could hit each other.

Anyways, while looking for tricks on youtube, I came across a video... about not battletoads JUST comming to virtrual consal, but as a FULL 3D GAME sequal!

I won't say much more, here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnPv9l-5LNQ&feature=rec-HM-fresh+div

So, is this the real thing?! It looks cheap, but convincing... I am really unsure of this, but seems real enough, and the game play makes sence on the wii.
