I knew this day was coming years ago. The guy was a revolutionary, a genius, a bit of a jerk(but then again so was Steve Jobs), but he saved video games.

Very sad. He was instrumental in relaunching the video game market after the Atari crash.

From a mainstream perspective, he's a very unsung icon. The industry wouldn't be what it is without him.
