dude you must play alot, those are awesome scores!  I haven't really gotten into any of them more than casual games except bowling. I love doing the bowling games and training. I got a 245 in a bowling game. I think in power throws my best is 650 or something.

These are Wii Sports Training Scores, I haven't really gotten into the training too much, but I'm Pro status in Bowling, Tennis & Baseball.

I bowl a 300 in bowling or very near one every game, and I am unbeatable in tennis. Next time I pop in Wii sports, I'll check all my training scores and edit them into this post.

Easy. To block up high, keep the controller near your face. For torso blocks, keep them near your waist. Jabs are self-explanatory. Look at where the opponent is blocking and go for where he is unguarded. For uppercuts you need an in-swinging motion. Sway a lot to dodge. When you see that "Matrix-style" slow-motion from a dodge, punch as fast as you can.

Not really.  I just play the training modes when I'm alone.  Average maybe 30 minutes a day.  I played a couple hours this morning and set 4 personal bests, so it's not like these are all that hard to beat.

I can dodge ok. It's the jabs I have trouble with. The response is horrendous.

How do you get really high scores in the punching bag one?

I was stuck at a measley 18.  Then I found a much better technique than my wimpy jabs and did combos, the simplest was a one-TWO (left jab, HUGE right punch) which could knock out each bag pretty much as soon as they come down.  But even with that, my best is 19, because there are always a few bags that shift over to the side and become problematic for several seconds, and then ruin my rhythm for the next few punching bags.  You'd think that if I found a MUCH faster technique (multiple times faster, even) that I should do much better than just ONE more.  >_<  It's really frustrating.

I'm guessing there are YouTube videos somewhere of people that can knock out like a bag every second and never miss?  I swear, some people are robots.

Getting rhythm is pretty much the key.  You can save the most time on the brown bags with the 1-2 technique you're using (the first punch can be hard too).  Some may be off to the side, but most will be in front of you where you really can easily take it out in half a second with two punches (white in four, black in seven).

I managed to knock out 23 bags (a punch away from 24 bags) last night in Fitness.

I hate how it doesn't "count" unless it's in Training.  >_<  Don't know if I'd've gotten a new medal, but it would be a new high score.  They should give you a medal/high score wherever you do it.  Some games where they give you more chances (like the Tennis ones where they end right away once you miss in Training but not in Fitness Age), they could still give you your best score based on how well you did until your first miss.  Grrr!  My high score should reflect my real best!

Heh, I'm in tne same boat.

You shouldn't worry though, I doubt you'll have much trouble breaking that record.  There's a bunch of brown bags until you get to 42 or something.

Tennis: PRO (1667)

Returning the ball: 55
Timing Your Swing: 21
Target practice: 20

Baseball: PRO (1012)

Homerun Derby: 8 homeruns (4,204 ft)
Swing Control: 42
Batting Practice: 23

Bowling: PRO (1337) <---coincedence? I. Think. Not.

Picking up Spares: 8 Lanes
Power Throw: 444
Spin Control: 12 Lanes

Regular game: 300

Golf: 757

Putting: 7 pts
Hitting the Green: 235.4 ft
Target Practice: 495

Boxing: 547

Working the Bag: 13
Dodging: 69
Throwing Punches: 17

I don't really play the training much if at all, but like I said before, I'm pretty un beatable in tennis(as far as the computer is concerned) and I can bowl a 300 almost everytime if I tried. But I haven't played bowling since I scored an 1337 status. I thought it was too good to change.

Its also too bad that the game doesn't keep track of your Win/Loss ratio or how many times someone quit a game after they loss but before the game recorded that loss. Maybe for Wii Sports 2 Online though?
