But in all seriousness I'm not a grade school kid in the internet age and I never was.  Is it normal now for young people to have no real interaction with books?  Just hearing anecdotes about my co-workers teenage kids suggests that even at only a ten year age difference they live in a completely different world than I am.

My personal "oh my god the world has passed me by" moments come from when I'm helping someone with math homework and they pull out a calculator to do their times tables instead of knowing them by heart. Do kids today get handed pocket calculators at grade 3 or something?

If so, that is a shame and a crime. Cuz that's when I first started learning them, forwards and backwards and sideways

i just noticed this on Nintendo's front page, this is kinda nice. I couldnt find the list of books, on any other site, but luckily typing Nintendoworldreport in google always is handy
