We sneak in a little Nontendo talk for all the RPG lovers out there.

Armed with Syrenne's 450 page book on the development of Persona 5, we get into the weeds of the Persona series.

This franchise of the Thirsty Mage is located in the back alley of Shinjuku after a hostile takeover of the Crossroads Bar.

At the table we have:

  • Thirsty Mage Host - David Lloyd
  • Game Producer and RPG Aficionado - Syrenne McNulty
  • Radio Free Nintendo Host - James Jones

We can be heard through multiple sources:

We need your help, as a brand new podcast segment we need to get the word out.

The best way you can help is to give us a quick review on your device, whether that's hitting the 5 star button or typing out what you liked about the show.

Our Twitter handle is @TheThirstyMage and we would love to hear from you. Let us know if you liked the show, or if you had some game requests, or even if you have some advice of how we could improve.

Really enjoying these a lot! Good and long discussion I can listen to while doing homework.

Just want to correct something here: Although it is technically correct that I refused to buy a PS4, I got one as a Christmas gift in 2016, and that's where I played the game. (I was actually going to be on this episode but for a massive storm knocking out my power on taping night.)

There's a NWR-formatted review for the game on the Patreon, and it was based off a review code for the PS4 version.

This was my favourite episode so far. It's always wonderful to hear from the insightful Syrenne. I have no problem at all with the length of these podcasts. Definitely thirsty for the next episode!

Great episode and discussion, even though I haven't played the game.

I remember seeing a tweet from James saying he had been awake for almost 24 hours by the end of this recording. You could tell that while he was engaged in the discussion, he was also ready for it to be over. I thought "Don't kill him! We need him for RFN!"
