Virtual Console and 3DS download games arrive this week in Japan.

Japanese 3DS owners have a few titles and content coming their way this week on the eShop. Two games hit and a little bit of video content was released to gamers this week. Here's a look at what has arrived:

3DS Downloadable Titles

Nikori no Puzzle – 500 yen

Virtual Console

Tennis – 300 yen

Video Content

Nintendo is continuing to update the Nintendo Video application as well as the Itsu no Ma ni Terebi channels with video content. As mentioned before, the video content for both applications is available for a limited time (Itsu no Ma ni Terebi for a day and the Nintendo video content for days at a time). A comedy sketch, as well as an updated Tokyo Girls Girls Collection were updated this week

Epic Mickey is being highlighted on the eShop and has several videos and release information posted. Atsumete no Kirby (Kirby Mass Attack for English speaking audiences) is also being showcased with an updated video as well as a TV commercial. Finally, an information channel for an upcoming Capcom product, Nazo Waku Yakata: Oto no Aida ni Aida ni, has been added to the front page of the eShop. The video shows the various aspects of the game, how players make use of the gyro-sensors, motion controls, 3DS camera and microphone to play the game. Epic Mickey, Atsumete no Kirby and Nazo Waku Yakata are set to be released in Japan on August 4.

Software Impressions

I have been pretty busy watching the video content on both the Itsu no Ma ni Terebi and Nintendo Video applications. And believe it or not, I have been playing the 3D Classics Urban Champion quite a bit lately. The game is nowhere close to being a deep, engaging experience, but for those that want to just zone out with some mindless fun, Urban Champion isn't as awful as everyone says. It is just totally up to you if you think 600 yen is worth it!
