The Second Period
The second period was less eventful, with both of us settling in defensively and giving each other less open opportunities to score. All of my old-school moves were slowly coming back to me, however - the Zig-Zag, the Hook'n'Swallow, the fine art of checking - and I managed to get on the scoreboard with Mark Messier to make it 3-2. Momentum was slowly shifting in my favor.
I managed to keep Insanolord off of the scoreboard for the rest of the period, gradually clawing my way back into the game.
