Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth mixes the characters of the beloved Shin Megami Tensei series with the gameplay of Etrian Odyssey. There is plently of dialogue and strategic planning going on, which makes the opening moments fine in my book. How it all looks and plays can be seen in the first look videos below!
As a huge fan of the Etrian Odyssey series I'm very interested in this title. My misgiving is that I've never played a Persona game and I fear that a lot of what the title has to offer might be missed by me.
Yeah, you might want to try Persona 3 or 4 before buying this game.
Also, I have an issue with saying that the gameplay is mixed with Etrian Odyssey, when in reality it's just the classic Shin Megami Tensei gameplay that's been around for 20 years.
I prefer this over P4 Arena. I really don't understand why they choose to continue the story through a fighting game instead of another RPG like Persona 3 "The Answer".
Really excited for this.
