Here is video of the newly revealed Mushroom Hill Zone and other gameplay.

Below are two videos of Sonic Generations 2 for Nintendo 3DS with direct feed audio. The first video shows gameplay of the Mushroom Hill Zone, seen for the first time at Gamescom.

God I hate auto boost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is no auto boost - boosting is possible with the Y-button and the gauge is filled by collecting rings or defeating enemies - the "infinitive boost" is caused by the player itself and his play style.

Looks surprisingly solid! The boss music is great, too. Stoked for this to come out. Also, I'm fine with the boost if it means you won't just randomly run into an enemy and die.

The last Sonic game I played was Sonic Rush, which I hated.  I own Colors Wii but haven't even opened it yet.  This looks promising, but I have to decide between 3DS or 360.
