Play, then go.

There’s not much to talk about when it comes to RCMADIAX’s Toss N Go. It’s the simplest of games, and the experience is over after an hour or so. That’s not to say it’s a bad game - It’s actually pretty fun, and with two players, you might be able to have fun and start a rivalry. However, it’s clear that this is aimed for a casual audience who just want to pick up and play something rather than have a robust experience. That’s all well and dandy, but overall the experience to me is something that, in the end, isn’t that particularly memorable.

The game has you battling it out against the CPU in a matching game. The goal is to reach 100 points by saving your point each time you rack up green plus signs. The catch is that you have to avoid the red X and the orange circle or else you’ll lose the points that you have saved up. It’s a clever game of banking and outsmarting the CPU, but then that’s it. Sure, there’s the two-player multiplayer, but once that grows stale, there’s nothing else to accomplish.

The presentation is well done at least. The menu screens look nice, and the dice are nicely represented. It features touch screen controls, which work fine. There’s only one song in the same, but it’s not bad. For a game of such minimal scope, things like this are to be expected, but it is polished enough that it adds to the experience.

I didn’t have any problems with Toss N Go as a game. I liked playing it, the strategy is fun, and the presentation was simple enough. But there isn’t a lot of meat on these bones, so much that there’s not really much more to say about it. This might be fun for a quick play every now and then, but otherwise Toss N Go is a game that exists, is perfectly acceptable for 30 minutes or so of play, and not much else.

Summary

Pros
  • Fun, simple gameplay
  • The presentation is nice
Cons
  • The experience is severely limited
