Thank you for the in-depth preview and footage! I've been looking in to this game since I like similar games (though I don't think Gran Turismo and Forza like you mentioned are close, as I know GT is a simulator and I believe Forza is as well. This comes off as purely arcadey). If there's a lot of content, it'll be worth it unless the game is really repetitive and shallow. Then again, $45 seems too pricey (and a weird price amount at that) for now. I think it's also a GameStop exclusive here in the States, to add some more info.

I just got the game and I'm pretty happy with it! Some may think the price is a little high, but it isn't bothering me. The controls are easy to work and the tracks are fun and there are really nice cars in here. So far it's proving to be a good game!
