Midway could have just called it Motitz, but that'd be obscene.
Midway expands their sports lineup by introducing Freestyle: Metal X, which focuses on performing stunts in freestyle motocross arenas rather than racing. Coming to GameCube in 2003, Freestyle: Metal X boasts a realistic physics system and a large variety of daredevil mini-games.
Midway has signed several real-life riders to endorse the game, including Clifford Adoptonte, Jeff Tilton, Nate Adams, Jeremy Stenberg, and Trevor Vines. The final game will feature 16 riders to choose from as well as a host of unique bikes and gear. There are a number of motocross games out there already, but none have quite hit the mark. PGC will update with more details as they become available and we’ll let you know if Freestyle: Metal X rises above the pack.
