MAJESCO ANNOUNCES FIRST TWO TITLES FOR NINTENDO DS

‘Moonlight Fables’ and ‘Nanostray’ Scheduled for 2005

EDISON, NJ, October 1, 2004 – Majesco (OTC BB: MJSH), a provider of diversified applications and content for digital entertainment platforms, today announced two exclusive titles for the Nintendo DS system, Moonlight Fables and Nanostray . Both titles feature touch screen input, multiplayer network play and dual screen support and are scheduled for release next year.

“The Nintendo DS promises a very unique interface and an array of software features, including wireless connectivity and touch screen support,” said Jesse Sutton, President of Majesco. “We are pleased to announce our first game offerings for the Nintendo DS and look forward to creating a variety of innovative products for the system.”

Moonlight Fables is a side-scrolling, action/adventure title designed by Cyber Philharmonic Video Game Design and follows the saga of Trista Silver, a recent Strike Force officer graduate and the unwitting heir to the Wolfen Empire. Players utilize the Nintendo DS touch screen, to manipulate the phases of the moon and unlock Trista’s werewolf powers.

A 3D sci-fi shooter developed by Shin’en, Nanostray boasts a wide array of weapons, un-lockable features and game modes, as well as an online ranking system that tracks the game’s top players. Nanostray’s touch screen features will allow players to track enemy movement via interactive radar and manage the various weapons and other special pick ups.

Adds Majesco’s Chief Technology Officer, Kevin Ray, “The Nintendo DS offers developers a broad design palette and we are looking to apply the same creative approach to this platform that we did with the Game Boy Advance with our Game Boy Advance Video and Wireless technologies.”

This actually sounds very interesting...I'll be watching this one...

But it's side-scrolling. It's kiddy.

These both sound like at-least decent games. Will this moon-phasing-changing alter the environment, or....

Nanostray is one of the best looking DS games I've seen yet, but if it's anything like Iridion 3D, I won't touch it with a fifty-foot pole. That game was garbage.

Bill AurionOctober 01, 2004

What are you confused about Renny? <_<

KDR_11kOctober 01, 2004

Kirby: Um, Iridion II was already an improvement so maybe this one actually ends up somewhere near "good"...

Infernal MonkeyOctober 01, 2004

Hot, hopefully Majesco can be arsed to release Nanostray when the DS launches here.. er, next year. ;__;
FIRST GAME I'LL BUY, HOLLA.

RennyOctober 02, 2004

I assumed it was the latter, that changing the moon changed Trista's state only--boring. But I was hoping they might have meant that changing the moon also affected the environment somehow--interesting.

KDR_11kOctober 02, 2004

They will probably let it influence the environment a bit. I don't think they can miss the obvious.
