MARIO AND DONKEY KONG RESTOKE THE FIRES OF RIVALRY

17th September 2004 - Two of videogaming's biggest stars return in this fantastic mix of platform and puzzle solving action. Players can challenge their reflexes and their brain as Mario comes up against Donkey Kong once more - this time with a full range of acrobatic skills and a collection of Toy Marios to help him. Mario vs. Donkey Kong launches for the Game Boy Advance across Europe on 19th November 2004.

If you don't already have a Game Boy Advance SP, why not get Mario's? From 19th November 2004, an exclusive Mario Limited Edition Pak will also be available across Europe. This Pak will contain a special Mario Game Boy Advance SP and a copy of Mario vs. Donkey Kong. The unique Mario Game Boy Advance SP will be the first 'two-colour' Game Boy Advance SP to be released in Europe, with a silver base and a red top featuring a stylish Mario 'M'. The Mario Game Boy Advance SP is exclusively available for Mario fans everywhere in this Mario Limited Edition Pak.

The all-new action adventure begins when Donkey Kong sees a TV advert for an exclusive new toy product, the "Mini Mario". After rushing to the store, he finds they have all sold out so he takes things into his own hands. The infamous ape breaks into the Mario Toy Company, stealing the newly made "Mini Mario" toys straight off the production line. However, it all goes terribly wrong when Mario turns up to give chase - will he retrieve his stolen toys?

The adventure ensues as Mario must overcome the mind-bending obstacles of girders, platforms and elevators, as well as fending off familiar enemies such as Thwomps, Shy Guys and Piranha Plants to find keys and reach the exits. With six different areas and over 100 puzzle-filled levels in total, Mario has a lot of ground to cover! But fear not, with a range of acrobatic moves including handsprings, back flips and somersaults Mario is sure to find the stolen Mini Mario's in no time at all.

In the penultimate level of each area, Mario must lead a group of six toy Mini Mario's to the end of the level. These Mini Mario's follow the real Mario very closely and it's up to players to ensure their survival. The number of Mini Mario's saved means more hits for Mario in the Boss level - a fight against the arch rival himself, Donkey Kong.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong launches across Europe on 19th November 2004 and is estimated to retail at around £30 in the UK.

The Mario Limited Edition Pak launches across Europe on 19th November 2004 and is estimated to retail at around £89 in the UK.

When is a mop-styled Game Boy Advance SP going to be released? That's the only type I would buy.

KDR_11kSeptember 17, 2004

Monkey: That'd look even worse.

I was expecting something red/blue.

But hey, anyone looking at the back of the device will think it's a Wario SP.
