ATLUS CONJURES SUMMON NIGHT: TWIN AGE™ FOR NINTENDO DS™

Unsheathe Your Stylus and Vanquish the Enemy this May 20th

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA - MARCH 18th, 2008 - Atlus U.S.A., Inc., a top 5 publisher in 2007 for overall game review scores, today announced Summon Night: Twin Age for Nintendo DS, a fully stylus-driven action RPG set in the popular Summon Night universe. The stylus is your key to the world of Clardona, whether as your swinging sword or your shimmering wall of fire. Summon Night: Twin Age is currently scheduled to bring its precise controls, beautifully animated graphics, and addictive action RPG gameplay to the Nintendo DS on May 20th.

About Summon Night: Twin Age

From a very young age, the human girl Reiha displayed great aptitude for the magical art of Summoning. While still a child, her powers caused a terrible accident during a major Summoning experiment. It was reported that Reiha had died as result, but she survived, along with a young Summon Beast named Aldo that had been pulled into her world...

Following the accident, the two children grew up together as brother and sister on the tropical island of Jarazi, among a race of people with beast-like features. There they learned to commune with the Nature Spirits that surrounded them. One day, the Spirits began acting strangely, prompting Reiha and Aldo to investigate. Their quest to find out who or what is behind the corruption of the Spirits will lead them back to the human lands where the cataclysm first brought them together…

Joyous occasion!
More Summon Night!

CericMarch 18, 2008

I've never played that series but Atlus is doing it.  Which means it should probably be good and extremely hard to find.

TheFleeceMarch 18, 2008

I've had fun with every Atlus title I've bought, after watching some videos I am eager for it.

Go forth my Cubivore Army and devour him.

I'm gonna bury it in a hole, then no one will know it ever existed.

I have the GBA game sitting here unopened... *sigh*

The ground is too rich with Atari's ET to let you do that.

I have summon Night 2 for GBA. Summon Night 1 for GBA is hard to find, and I easily gave up the search.

Shipping from the US is dirt cheap compared to the usual markup we see here. I don't expect this to get a release tho.

UltimatePartyBearMarch 19, 2008

I have 1 and 2, both unopened, in my backlog pile.  Yes, I'm so dumb that I buy sequels to games I haven't played yet.  They look like fun, but I haven't gotten around to them yet.

Anyway, this sounds like it's going to be a bit different from the GBA games.  This is sounding like it will have Mana-style combat, and the GBA games have Tales-style combat.

The internet is the greatest equalizer/globalizer the world has yet seen.

Besides Caliban, don't you want to be able to call yourself an "import gamer?" ~_^

CalibanMarch 19, 2008

I have opened an exception to import, and it was for KK Kururin 2, and I'm not opening another exception until I am financially stable or when my tax money returns haha.
I'm not too worried about finding Summon Night 1 (GBA) at the moment anyway. With some luck, and some insistence I will locally find a used copy.

DarkheartMarch 19, 2008

I was hoping they would bring this game over here now I can rejoice.
