The game where you draw your own hero, weapons and other stuff is coming to the DS this fall.

THQ Announces Drawn to Life™, the First Nintendo DS™ Experience That Allows Players to Draw Their Own Hero

The Stylus is Mightier Than the Sword in This New Adventure Where Players Create Their Own Weapons, Tools, Animals and More

AGOURA HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--THQ Inc. (NASDAQ:THQI) today announced that Drawn to Life™, the first-ever action adventure game that lets players draw their own hero, is currently in development exclusively for the Nintendo DS™. THQ was the leading third-party Nintendo DS publisher in the US for 2006, and Drawn to Life will mark the company’s first original property created specifically for that system. Drawn to Life provides an unprecedented gameplay experience where players traverse numerous worlds with a hero they create using the Nintendo DS stylus. Players will also draw environmental elements that will aid their hero to success throughout their journey.

In Drawn to Life, players will help save a distant village from the shadow-like evil that has covered it in darkness. Using one of four different Hero forms, including Flying Hero and Aquatic Hero, players will create their own unique hero to conquer a variety of different environments including snowy fields, tropical islands and dark forests. The robust drawing tool contains different methods of creation in addition to numerous colors, brush types and stamps that will allow for complete freedom to develop one-of-a-kind characters and game elements. Drawn to Life will also feature the ability for players to trade their created heroes with friends via the Nintendo DS Wi-Fi function.

Developed by 5TH Cell, Drawn to Life is expected to be available this fall. For more information on this game, as well as additional THQ titles, please visit www.thq.com.

This sounds interesting, but it's THQ, and 5TH Cell has apparently done little other than cell phone games, so I have no idea what they're capable of.

YYEESSSSSSS!!!

I've been hoping this would be picked up!
