Bill AurionOctober 09, 2007

I demand you to go play Brawl and return with tasty impressions! (Also BWii...And Crossbow Training...And Layton...)

Dirk TemporoOctober 09, 2007

Oh man oh man oh man oh man.

Now we'll finally know if wavedashing and all that other tourney*** bullsh!t is still in Brawl.

PaleMike Gamin, Contributing EditorOctober 09, 2007

God god god god god...

SOOOO TEMPTED TO SPEND A FORTUNE ON PLANE TICKETS!

Bill AurionOctober 09, 2007

*Pale ends up not having enough money to actually buy Brawl when it comes out* tpg.gif

GoldenPhoenixOctober 09, 2007

I can't wait to hear how Brawl plays.

vuduOctober 09, 2007

This is fantastic news. Both Microsoft and Sony are no-shows and Nintendo pulls out the big guns. If this doesn't dredge up some hype nothing will.

I find it odd that Nintendo's promoting old DS games like Nintendogs, Mario Kart and NSMB. Who attending E for All hasn't already played all of those games?

And when did Professor Layton get renamed? I thought it was a Mysterious Village?

If Nintendo REALLY wanted to pull out the big guns, they'd have Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit on display. This is an exciting line-up... but there's no 2008 guns on show, which isn't a surprise given the current trend of what companies AREN'T showing at major conferences.

Luigi DudeOctober 09, 2007

The best part of Brawl being playable is we'll finally see who the starting lineup will be.

Which means we'll finally see CAPTAIN FALCON!!!face-icon-small-laugh.gif

This is a show for gamers, not the media/buyers/developers. Most gamers don't know how to accurately judge a work-in-progress. If Nintendo started showing off half-finished games they'd get ripped a new one. They're best sticking with brand new or almost finished games.

Haha, knowing Nintendo they will have a limited roster, only those that have been completely revealed.

That's exactly what they did with Melee...Sheik wasn't playable because it would have revealed that Zelda was in the game (she hadn't been unveiled yet)...

ShyGuyOctober 09, 2007

Seriously, Windy and TYP are in SO-CAL, right? You'll play MOH:H2 for me, right?

PaleMike Gamin, Contributing EditorOctober 09, 2007

We'll definitely have people there. Don't worry about that.

Ian SaneOctober 09, 2007

How come the DS lineup is so full of games already out? They didn't do that with the Wii. Who wants to go to a convention to play old games they already could have owned for YEARS?

Whatever. SSB and Mario Galaxy are there and that's really all that matters. face-icon-small-smile.gif

Bill AurionOctober 09, 2007

That's a good question...Perhaps because it's a public event they think they can attract some new gamers that haven't played them yet?

CalibanOctober 09, 2007

Ian, Nintendo's end of year Wii line-up is very close and is much richer than its DS line-up of games, in fact I would say there are no Nintendo titles that are important enough coming out on DS until 2008, so doesn't it make sense they pay more attention to the Wii line-up?

I agree. I think it's a great idea to pay more attention to the Wii line-up. But what the hell is Mario Kart DS doing there? Is there an admission fee to this thing? I'd hate to take the time to go, pay for it, and then have Nintendo shove a game in my face I already own or could go play on a demo machine at Toys 'R' Us for free any time.

CalibanOctober 09, 2007

haha, true, maybe Nintendo thinks they haven't sold enough Millions of copies of Mario Kart DS.

I was just nervous after Svevan couldn't be bothered to drive up to PAX.

Oh Snap! Still love ya Evan, all in good fun.

WiiFit isn't listed. That's what confuses me.

It's a 2008 title.

pSYCO-gAMER321October 09, 2007

I see. Well good thing I am going there. I have the VIP access and I am going to show up at the LA Convention Center before 10. Since Brawl is going to be there, I will rush to play the game and full bring my laptop and post on the forums and whatnot.

Isn't Nintendo publishing Professor Layton? That one has certainly piqued my interest.

DjunknownOctober 09, 2007

With a line-up like this, E4all just might be the true heir to the old E3. All we need now are the scandalous booth babes, community standards be damned devil.gif

BlkPaladinOctober 09, 2007

You know what I"m kicking my self now. I was going to go, I was even invited to go but had too many bills. (And too many games to buy.) So I ended up not signing up to go....

IceColdOctober 09, 2007

I'm very very very very interested in Professor Layton.

Still better than anything Sony or MS are showing.

I think they're going for the games that will sell millions for sure, the other ones will sell whatever they can and that's already great for them.
