Billy jots down some stuff about Mario Kart Advance.

The second I got done taking pictures of GBA and GameCube systems, I rushed over to give Mario Kart Advance a whirl. They had a couple of 4-player setups to rage on. So, of course, I felt obligated to fire it up. If you are a Mario Kart fan, or just a racing game fan, this game will not dissapoint you a bit.

Billy happens to mention that E3 2001 will be heaven.

You heard it here first folks, Billy sent me this message and said it had to go up, that he'd forgotten to mention it. Apparently the word is that all of these Gamecube demo games will be playable at E3 next year... meaning you have to figure at least half of them will actually make it. Regardless,... Read more...

Billy seems to be excited about something...

Yeah, you heard me correctly. Good-BYE! I can't write much because we are trying to get all the media up as fast as we can. All I have to say is that the games I saw on GameCube and GBA were absolutely astounding. Anyone that doubts Nintendo will become a fan instantly. All the pics will be up in a few moments....Now I'm working on the video. Hold on to your depends. This is gonna blow you away.

This sums up just about everything we know about GBA so far.

It'll launch for 9,800 yen on March 21, 2001. (In Japan, mind you.)

The songs used to demo the GBA hardware at the GBA developers conference last April are now available to the public, our buddies at pocket.ign have the story and mp3s.

Oh... my... God! Repeat it now, repeat it often, don't stop repeating it until one of these puppies is in your hands. Not only has Nintendo finally opened with a strong volley, it looks like they've opened it up with both barrels! First, we got details just off the phone with Billy... second, we have pics from the lovely folks at Nintendo, posted here since their server is going to be CRAWLING today (it already is at 5 AM!).

Billy tells Justin what to do and say!

Heya folks, Just talked to Billy live from Japan. Lucky bastard... maybe I should add poor as all get out since this can't be cheap. Anyway, more and more it is looking like the next 24 hours is going to bring some VERY interesting news and there could also be some VERY happy faces... well, not on anyone from Sony, but I think we'll all survive if that's the case.

Billy saves lots of money by waiting until he gets to Japan to post this instead of using the airplane phone.

Space World Diary – The Flight

Well I’m currently in the air right now. Somewhere over Canada. Blame CANADA! Hehe. So far so good. Well, at least I’m on my way. The flight was delayed for about an hour and a half…but it’s all good. 9 hours currently left on the flight. 9 long ass hours. I hope I can fall asleep pretty soon.

Billy gets psyched! about going to Space World.

Well that just about does it for me state side. Get me the hell out of here! It's time to board the PlanetJet and take to the skies for like 82 hours. It's finally starting to sink in. Space World baby! The bags are packed, the GBC is full of fresh batteries, Louie's got a 12 pack, and some glitter balls. Louie wanted to come but he's heard that they eat cat in parts of Japan.
