BAM! Entertainment has shipped the first in a series of Broken Sword adventure games to be ported to GBA and, eventually, GameCube. Broken Sword is a "point and click"-style adventure game whose story is told through text, much like the older King's Quest PC games. The GBA version has been redesigned with a more direct control scheme and several hidden features to add replay value.

Titled 'XIII', Ubi Soft is bringing a FPS to the GameCube (and other consoles) with a twist. It's cel-shaded.

Based off of the comic of the same name, Ubi Soft is bringing XIII to the Nintendo GameCube, Playstation 2, and XBox. The game will supposedly incorporate both action and stealth based styles of gameplay while attaining an original look for first person shooter. Sporting a distinct look fueled by the Unreal Engine, XIII is scheduled for release early next year.

Contrary to prior reports, Kyojin no Doshin (Doshin the Giant) does not have an English menu option.

One of our Japanese Correspondents Tonkatsu Chikara just returned from the store with Kyojin no Doshin (Doshin the Giant) and has informed me that there is no English option in the game.
Exactly how difficult the game is to play without Japanese knowledge is still unknown. Full impressions coming soon!

We have just learned that Famitsu has reviewed Capcom’s Biohazard game for GameCube and awarded it 39/40 –one point shy of perfect! This score also qualifies Biohazard for Famitsu's Dendo Platinum award. This is pretty spectacular news, especially as this score appeared alongside reviews of games from other consoles and wasn’t in the Nintendo-specialized Famitsu!
