GameStop Corp., the largest gaming specialty store in the United States, recently held their annual sales conference where, according to The Dallas Morning News, a rather peculiar statement was made by CEO Steve Morgan. Nintendo's Canadian brass says North America is getting a seven-figure shipment on November 19.
The Mackenzie Financial Corporation is a typical investment firm located north of the border. The company posted a news story about the (Canadian) Wii launch at the same time the official Canada launch details press release hit the wire. They even had quotes from Nintendo Canada's VP and GM, Ron Bertram--the same Rom Bertram quoted in the Nintendo PR. What's the big deal, then?
