Source: Gamespot

There are now technically more announced Batman titles for the GCN than Mario Brothers games. Yay?

Ubi Soft announced today that Batman: Vengeance and Disney's Tarzan will make their way to the GameCube. No dates were announced for the two titles, but the two games should hopefully arrive within the GameCube's first year. While both games are currently also under development for the PS2, expect Ubi Soft to reveal some GCN exclusives in the near future, as there are still a whopping 17 other games to come from the French publisher.

Letter from the Director

by Billy Berghammer - 8:23 pm EDT

Some rather disappointing news, as well as a plea for your help! Free pizza? Naked chicks? CLICK NOW!

Dear Planet GameCube readers,

As you’ve noticed, we’ve got a Pay Pal ad up on our website asking for donations to help get us to Space World. I’d like to thank the 10 people out there that donated money already. Planet GameCube not only is a lot of hard work to keep going, but it costs us quite a bit of money for server costs, and taking trips to E3, Space World, etc.

Price Fixing is bad, m'kay ...

In what amounts to a slap on the wrist, Japan's Free Trade Commission (FTC) has ordered Sony to stop the practice of pressuring Wholesalers and retailers to sell it's PS2 at specific prices, a practice known in the US as "price fixing."

Why is price fixing such a big deal? It denies a retailer... Read more...

We are almost done editing the video & moving to production. Yay! So what’s next? What are some of the highlights of video? How much longer until it is done? The answers are here.

Since a long time before E3 2001 took place, we were planning and pimping our E3 video. Well, it’s been a long and crazy road since then. However, the next two days should see the E3 video getting out of my hair, and into production. I am very happy to be able to say this!

LucasArts lets another company publish Rogue Leader in Japan.... with Japanese vocals!

New information regarding Rogue Leader has been revealed. It seems the Japanese version, scheduled for a late December release, will feature Japanese vocal acting to go along with the translated text! Interestingly, LucasArts has announced that it will not publish the title overseas: EA/Square will do the job instead. For not supporting GCN yet themselves, Square seems to be publishing quite a lot of GameCube titles...
