For the second time in three years, E3 2022 has officially been cancelled.
An announcement had been made previously that due to continued COVID-19 variants the in-person, Los Angeles based event would be cancelled, however a second attempt was reportedly in the works for a digital event after an aborted attempt in 2021. This too has fallen through, as confirmed by IGN.

Yes, you can bring a Mii if you wish.
Some new details have emerged for Nintendo Switch Sports in a new trailer.
Among the items shown include new weapon types for chambara ("light swords" and twin swords), obstacles in bowling including sliding walls and ramps, and a "shootout" soccer mode that will be the first to use the Ring Fit Adventure leg strap. Character customization will be available in addition to the option to use an existing Mii.

The sequel to Breath of the Wild has been officially delayed out of 2022.
In a video posted on their various social media, Zelda director Eiji Aonuma confirmed the new target release of Spring 2023. Aonuma cited a need for additional development time and wanting to add new gameplay elements to the world.

A little late for the FIFTH ANNIVERSARY of the system, but whatcha gonna do.
When the Switch was revealed to be region free, the next most important feature was folders... and they're finally here.
System software 14.0 is now available for the Switch to add "groups for software" on the console. At least 12 titles must be installed on the Switch to use the feature, with up to 100 folders and 200 icons per folder allowed.

A wrestling RPG that unfortunately doesn't feature any cowboy *RADIO EDIT*
A new retro-styled RPG will fly off the top rope and into the Switch this summer.
As the name implies, WrestleQuest is an RPG set in the art of professional wrestling in which the main character is a young lion attempting to make his way in the business. "Combat" will use a combination of turn-based and real time actions for the ring performance.

Can the power of a god stand up to difficulty and a guy who never gets his stuff done?
It would be hard for Nintendo to top January in software sales, especially when a new game gets a New Yorker writeup, but the NPD's February sales survey at least showed a bounceback in hardware.
All data based on dollar sales from January 30 - February 26, unless otherwise noted. Digital sales are not included for Nintendo first party but can be for third parties.

Anime World Report is already prepping the forklifts as a beloved fighting game is getting remastered for Switch.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, an enhanced version of the 2013 PlayStation 3 fighting game with numerous additional fighters, will be out in "early fall" for Switch and other platforms. The original All-Star Battle had 32 characters, while the R version will feature 50 characters from all of the arcs of the story.
