The creators of Toki Tori have their eyes set on Rubik's Cube.
Two Tribes, best known for their WiiWare launch title Toki Tori, has revealed their next WiiWare project. The title will be in reality a series of games based around Rubik's Cube.
The first title under the Rubik's Cube banner will be called Rubik's Puzzle Galaxy-Rush, a mini game collection featuring the famous puzzle cube. While little information has been given, an official siteis live with a teaser trailer for the release.

The two companies are getting ready to release two new Tetris games next spring.

The game will be similar to the PSP's Rock Band Unplugged, except with touch screen control.
The upcoming LEGO Rock Band for DS will not need any new peripherals to make it playable, according to a recent press release. Instead, the game appears to function similarly to the recent Rock Band Unplugged for PSP, and Harmonix's early games Amplitude and Frequency.

The classic SNES title highlights the releases celebrating Gamescom week.
In celebration of this week's Gamescom event, Nintendo of Europe has updated their European Virtual Console service with the addition of the Super Nintendo title Pilotwings.
In addition to Pilotwings for the Virtual Console, the DSiWare service received two new titles: Mario vs. DK: Minis March Again! and Nnooo's Pop+ Solo. WiiWare also received two new games, Square-Enix's ARKANOID Plus! and Gaijin Game's BIT. TRIP CORE.

Namco Bandai will continue to heavily support the Virtual Console Arcade service in Japan.
When Nintendo revealed the Virtual Console Arcade service at GDC, one of the most prominent supporters was Namco Bandai.
A few months ago, the publisher announced an impressive initial lineup of 30 games. In Japan, the publisher has already released 25 of those titles.

The famous accessory maker signs an agreement with Nintendo to make peripherals based off of Nintendo characters.
Today, Mad Catz has announced that the company signed a non-exclusive licensing agreement with Nintendo of America in order to produce accessories for Wii, DS, and DSi. They will be allowed to create accessories that feature famous Nintendo characters from the Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and Metroid universe.

Ignition released two more trailers for Muramasa: The Demon Blade, which is set for a September release.

n-Space's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized looks action-packed and explosive.
Activision revealed the first trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized at GamesCom 2009.
The third DS Call of Duty game from n-Space, Mobilized returns to the modern combat of Call of Duty 4, and also appears to be a thrilling ride filled with action, bullets, and voice-acting.

WB Games released the latest trailer for 5th Cell's innovative game, Scribblenauts.
The game allows you to write almost anything you can think of and have it appear on screen and be used to solve puzzles. It's currently set for a September 15 release.

The preshow festivities at Gamescon 2009 reveal the latest Academy of Champions video.
Ubisoft's Academy of Champions is an arcade soccer game that is being made exclusively for the Wii. Hitting stores this fall, it features gameplay that takes advantage of both the Wii MotionPlus and the Balance Board in a variety of different modes.

Earthworm Jim gets a WiiWare revival.
Gameloft has recently teamed up with Interplay to revive the classic franchise, Earthworm Jim, on WiiWare. Gameloft has signed a multi-year licensing agreement to develop, publish, and distribute the game. It is unknown if more than one game will be created from this agreement.
Interplay originally launched the Earthworm Jim series in 1994. The Sega Genesis version of Earthworm Jim was released last year on Virtual Console.

IO Interactive confirms a September release for Mini Ninjas.
IO Interactive recently announced that Mini Ninjas, a cartoony adventure game for Wii and DS, will be released in North America on September 8, in PAL territories on September 11, and in France and Germany on October 9.
Mini Ninjas has a humorous storyline that has the player controlling a small clan of Ninjas as they try to restore balance and harmony to nature.

Capcom has announced that Spyborgs, a Wii exclusive sci-fi brawler, will be released on September 22, 2009 for $39.99.
This is a week earlier and $10 cheaper than originally reported.

Weekly Famitsu unveiled Shadow Tower, a new WiiWare title from Hudson Soft. In it, players take control of a young boy's shadow and traverse the 2.5D world by running and jumping on the shadows cast by foreground structures. Nintendo will help Capcom promote Monster Hunter Tri overseas, while Capcom announces a new Wii game in Japan.
With the recent successful release of Monster Hunter Tri in Japan, Capcom is working to repeat this achievement in North America and Europe, regions where the Monster Hunter franchise is less popular. According to the Nihon Keizai Shimbun newspaper, Capcom will work with Nintendo in order to market the game overseas. Nintendo brings its considerable experience marketing the continually successful Pokemon franchise to this endeavor.
