Hideki Kamiya desperately wants a new Star Fox title.

Hideki Kamiya, director of Okami and Bayonetta, is making quite a Twitter name for himself as he recently said he wants Nintendo to force Platinum Games to make a new Star Fox title.

"I want Nintendo's staff to come to Platinum, stick guns at us and tell us 'You guys make a new Star Fox,'" he said.

Dive: The Medes Island Secret, from Cosmonaut Games, is a side-scrolling WiiWare title focused on exploration that uses the NyxQuest engine.

Nintendo's plus-sized handheld puts up "solid" numbers.

Nintendo's latest handheld, the DSi XL, sold 141,000 units from its launch on March 28 to the end of the NPD reporting period on April 3, according to financial analyst Michael Pachter.

Those numbers made up about 20 percent of all DS sales, which also included the DS Lite and DSi, in March.

Ubisoft's MotionPlus-powered title is slow out of the gate after 12 days of sales.

Kotaku reports that Red Steel 2 sold about 50,000 units in the March NPDs according to financial analyst Michael Pachter.

However, those numbers are only from 12 days of sales, as Red Steel 2 came out on March 23 and the March NPDs only covered up until April 3.

The newly revealed characters in the game were shown in Famitsu last week, and the official site matched these biographies with artwork. The biographies were translated by Andriasang.

Nintendo Wii and DS were the top two selling game systems in March, according to the latest report from the NPD Group. Wii sales reached 560,000 consoles, and combined DS system sales reached over 700,000 handhelds, setting a new record for portable system sales. THQ revealed yesterday that Beat City, a rhythm-based mini-game collection, is getting its own Facebook application.

The technology behind Wii Fit is the subject of this latest lawsuit.

Maryland based company IA Labs, also known as Powergrid Fitness, has filed a lawsuit against Nintendo, claiming that they have infringed two of IA Labs' patents when creating Wii Fit, Wii Fit Plus and several other peripherals. The company claims to have been "irreparably harmed" by the release of the titles.

The Wii-exclusive role-playing game from Mistwalker is nearing the final stages of development.

The Nintendo of America president talks about the 3D-enhanced successor to the DS.

In an interview with Business Week, Reggie Fils-Aime offered comments regarding the recently confirmed new handheld from Nintendo, the Nintendo 3DS.

Despite having just launched the Nintendo DSi XL in North America, the company is already looking forward to the release of the new handheld.

On June 8, prepare for an entire game disc worth of Green Day tracks.

Green Day, Harmonix, MTV Games and Reprise/Warner Bros. are bringing Green Day: Rock Band to Wii. The game is a standalone disc for the Rock Band series, and will feature specialized videos for each song. The track list includes the albums Dookie and American Idiot, and by combining the disc with already available DLC, a third complete album, 21st Century Breakdown can be played in its entirety.

Players in the United Kingdom will be able to meet the game's producer and director as well as receive a special item.

Nintendo announced that they will be hosting a special Monster Hunter Tri launch event in the United Kingdom. As special guests, Monster Hunter series producer Ryozo Tsujomoto and director Kaname Fujioka will be at the event singing copies of the game.
